The current campus was purpose-built in 2007 at a cost of some RM200m. At present there are some 4,500 students and 500 staff, with growth projected to lead to over 6,000 students and 600 staff. About one quarter of the student body is international. The campus continues to develop steadily, and now enjoys excellent facilities for world-class education and research. All academic staff members are expected to engage in scholarly research.

Catherington Church

330 Catherington Ln, Horndean, Waterlooville PO8 0TD

All Saints Church, Catherington offer a range of services from traditional Prayer Book Holy Communion to informal praise and prayer and all-age worship. There are also occasional services of healing prayer and anointing. We want everyone to find a home here from the young to the not-so-young and that is why we enjoy refreshments together in the church hall after each 9.30 am Sunday service so that we can say ‘hello’ and welcome newcomers.

I love the old shophouse buildings in Singapore, so cool that a modern city like this can keep some heritage

Rich source of archtecture, nice views of the river Rhine: Köln-Bayenthal is a neighbourhood of Cologne, Germany and part of the district of Rodenkirchen. Bayenthal lies on the left bank of the river Rhine, between the district of Innenstadt to the North and Marienburg neighbourhood to the South. The borders to these are defined by the Southern Bridge (Südbrücke) and the Bayenthalgürtel of the Cologne Belt respectively. To the West, Bayenthal borders with Raderberg.

It combines the residential neighbourhoods from adjacent Marienburg with former industrial areas next to the old "Dom" brewery.[1][2] Bayenthal has 8.473 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2008) and covers an area of 1,28 km² (pop.density of 6.620 inhab./km²). The neighbourhood is served by Cologne Stadtbahn line 16.

Construction on the church began around 1772[3][4] and was completed in 1815[3] by Franciscan Fathers and its patron is Saint Francis of Assisi. It is made of adobe as are many of the Spanish missions in New Mexico. It is located a few miles south of Taos Pueblo and has inspired among the greatest number of depictions of any building in the United States.[5] It was the subject of four[citation needed] paintings by Georgia O'Keeffe,[6][7] and photographs by Ansel Adams, Paul Strand and Ned Scott. Georgia O'Keeffe described it as, "one of the most beautiful buildings left in the United States by the early Spaniards."[5] The Taos Chamber of Commerce states that the building is "one of the most photographed and painted churches in the world".[8]

It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1970.[2][9] It is also designated as a World Heritage church.

These are photos taken on my trip to Europe and the UK with a girl friend in October to November 2012. My camera I had then wasn't good with low light so some of these shots are not great but I have put them as my memories of the trip.

After we left my friend in Summerton we stayed with my friends in Surrey. They took us down to their holiday home in West Wittering where we took some trips around the area.

This is Portsmouth where we spent a few hours walking around the harbour area on a cold windy day in November.

Portsmouth is a port city and naval base on England’s south coast, mostly spread across Portsea Island. It’s known for its maritime heritage and Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. The dockyard is home to the interactive National Museum of the Royal Navy, the wooden warship HMS Victory, where Nelson died in the Battle of Trafalgar, and HMS Warrior 1860. The Tudor ship Mary Rose is also conserved in a dockyard museum.― Google
