PEIRCE, Mary Forrer (Mellie) 03, undated
Mary Forrer PEIRCE (1855-1892), called Mellie, was a daughter of Jeremiah Hunt PEIRCE and his first wife Elizabeth (FORRER) Peirce. She never married.

An aged copy of "State Fair," a novel by 1919 Drake alumnus Phil Stong that has spawned three film adaptations. In Stong's correspondence with his family (also chronicled in Drake's archives), he writes of struggling to live on $7.75/month at a time when tuition was $63 per semester.
The Winter School for Audiovisual Archiving is a four-day training that gives participants the practical knowledge to design and implement a preservation plan for their audiovisual collections. The fourth edition of the Winter School took place at the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision from Tuesday 15 until Friday 18 January 2019.

Illinois women won the right to vote for presidential electors, mayors, alderman and other local officers, but not state representatives, Congressmen, and Illinois governors in 1913. This sample ballot was used for women voters for the November 3, 1914 general election in Rockford, IL.
