Project 2008 which will be build.

model 1: 2000.

.

there is an older existing hotel part very close to the famous Tai Hu Lake.

The client wished to have:

- a new 5 star hotel which should be remarkable.

- conference center

-spa center

-boutique hotel

-villas

-residental area.

my main idea was to plan the whole area as a traditional chinese garden.

the new hotel part i designed in 3 parts (two 4/5 storey courtyard blocks and a 60 meter high abstract Pagoda which will be visible from the distance).

The conference center i designed within the landscape with additional 4 theaters in front and water underneath. the material will be a kind of hammered concrete which are looking like the famous Tai Hu limestone.

The spa center is also designed within the landscape on terraces and a huge organic glass roof on it.

In front of it you see the residental part according to of the famous city of suzhou.

The boutique hotel has a floating green roof and huge balconies.

Designed for Atkins china.

model scale 1: 333

A Plate Showing "Engineered Elements" Of Construction _1 of 54 Plates

Scale Model (Card) Kit of Lloyd's Bank Building (London)

Dims: 360mm x 360mm x 50mm

The hardbound case containing 9 full-colored plates (54 of ) of documents, maps, illustrations, or photos documenting the history of Lloyd's & the design / construction of their building, and an 85 sheet card model.

A long time fan of modern architecture I started collecting architectural scale models about 20 years ago. These kits designed by van Zanten are beautiful in the box products. Long out-of-print I've been able to acquire 10 of his designs over the years. This is the most ambitious kit in my collection.

Kit designed by architect Victor Veldhuijzen van Zanten: veldhuijzenvanzanten.nl/projects/project-3/

Building designed by architect Richard Rogers_Wiki: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lloyd's_building

One of the two towers commissioned to Studio Mumbai by the ZhengZhou municipality. Presented in October 2012.

The master-plan designed and orchestrated by Arata Isozaki.

The best part of this building is not entirely visible here, being that every floor has a double-height public verandah running the length of each facade.

The Screen facade is inspired from the vernacular window grills and boxes put up onto apartment buildings throughout Asia. This facade also serves another purpose of forming a comfortable public space behind it, buffering the wind and shielding the fact the spaces might be many stories up in the air. Trees and bench fill the each of these spaces (visible).

Moving the cores to the corners allows the floor-plan to be completely open throughout.

Project description: i was told to make a house or building that used Le Corbusier fundaments....i can't remember them except that it required the structure to be places on top of pilars, i think it turned out great....well everyone seemed to like it but well it's no really my thing....this type of design but i do what i can, by the way this house is suposed to be in fron of a lake.....and on the back a forest....quite a utopic picture but thats the idea...and the water woulrd be falling from the bridge into a stream that reaches the lake....you can see the bridge on some pictures.
