Masjid Zahir, Kedah Malaysia.
Masjid Zahir is the state mosque of Kedah. It was built in 1912 by Tunku Mahmud, the son of Sultan Tajuddin Mukarram Shah. The mosque was built on the site of the resting place of local warriors who fell in the course of defencing Kedah against the Siamese invasion of 1821.
The design of Masjid Zahir is based on that of Masjid Azizi of Bandar Langkat in northern Sumatra. The mosque has five domes to represent the five tenets of Islam. Sultan Abdul Hamid Halim Shah officiated in the opening of Masjid Zahir on Friday, 15 October, 1912, and acted as Imam for the day, after reading a sermon by Tunku Mahmud. This mosque has been voted the top 10 most beautiful mosques in the world.

En partenariat avec le ministère français de la Culture, Microsoft et la start-up française Iconem produiront un « jumeau numérique » de Notre-Dame, véritable enregistrement minutieux de l'architecture et des décors de la cathédrale.
Atteindre un tel niveau de détail ne sera cependant pas chose aisée.
Cette reconstitution virtuelle s'appuiera sur des centaines de milliers de photographies prises par des appareils photo, des drones et des lasers, qui seront ensuite reconstituées par des spécialistes grâce à l'IA.
Le résultat, comme l'espèrent Microsoft et Iconem, offrira une réplique parfaite de Notre-Dame au centimètre près !

Teaming up with France’s Ministry of Culture, Microsoft and French start-up Iconem will produce a “digital twin” of Notre-Dame, serving as a meticulous record of the cathedral’s architecture and decor.
Achieving such a granular level of detail, however, will be no easy task.
This virtual recreation will be built upon hundreds of thousands of photographs shot by cameras, drones, and lasers, all of which will then be stitched back together by specialists with the help of AI.
The result, as Microsoft and Iconem hope, will offer a perfect replica of Notre-Dame down to the inch !

This is the 1 Blackfriars building in London, UK that I have been wanting to photograph for a while as it has a really interesting design and is very reflective all round. I photographed it a few months back not realising that i hadn’t found the line on symmetry in my shot. So, this is my second attempt. I like how the cloudy skies behind are juxtaposed by the clearer blue skies ahead.

i know there some that would not class this as a "street lamp" in the proper sence of the word its actual one of the lamps at the front of Dublins central bank on Dames st.As far as im concerned once its outside its a street lamp ..Ahem ahem.One of my favourite things that i like about Dublin is its street lights but i find them difficult to photograph as i usualy wash out the shot by overexposing so glad i got this like so .

Designed in 1914 by FLW for the MIdway Gardens in Chicago. Original sculptures were lost after the Midway Gardens were demolished, only to reemerge in 1945 after being "unearthed" in Wisconsin. A mold was cast of the "Solemn Sprite" by the request of Mrs. Wright, and from this six new Sprites were cast and gifted to the Biltmore in 1985.

Indigo Slam is a privately owned gallery and residence for an art collector in the heart of Sydney and it was conceived and built by

This is actually the rear of the building and it sits in a very narrow alleyway. When I was there photographing it yesterday there was still a lot of construction going on inside along with plastic sheeting covering the roof. I’d really love to see it’s interiors so I could understand how it’s exterior relates to the spaces within. I did art school at uni majoring in painting, drawing and photography… so I have a strong grasp on design like this. Conceptually the building has references to constructivism and abstraction, but I think a lot of the shapes and curves on the exteriors are clever ways to shape the light entering the building. One of the architects said that the light also changes from season to season in Indigo Slam which would be fascinating to see.

The giant fully glazed 120 metre long canopy on Eastbourne Terrace, built to the south of Brunel’s iconic 19th Century Paddington Station, which now links the mainline services along with the newly opened Elizabeth Line down below.
The bomb proof glass features gigantic clouds-cape painted artwork on it by New York artist Spencer Finch.
