Gothenburg Central Station, located in Gothenburg, Sweden, was inaugurated in 1856. It was built to serve as a hub for railway transportation in the region, marking a significant step in the development of the Swedish railway network. The station was originally designed in a neoclassical style, featuring a grand façade and spacious platforms.
At the time of its opening, Gothenburg was an important industrial and commercial center, and the establishment of the railway station facilitated the movement of goods and passengers. The station played a crucial role in connecting Gothenburg with other major cities in Sweden and beyond, contributing to the city's growth and economic development.
Over the years, the station has undergone several renovations and expansions to accommodate increasing passenger traffic and modernize its facilities. Today, Gothenburg Central Station remains a vital transportation hub, serving both local and international train services, and is an integral part of the city's infrastructure.

I loved this place. have spend two days there admring the architecture, and would probably come back again for the same purpose.
It has a cool, Tripelettes de Belleville-ish mood in a way (if you have not see the film, do it, it is amazing!). Luckily enough for us april is not the time when the street is absolutely full with tourists, so managed to get a shot without people in it:)
New parking garage close to Arenastaden. And not only for cars, as you can park a few hundred bicycles there as well, although I am yet to test that. Oh, and in glows in the dark.
