To Architecture lovers, and especially those who appreciate Modernism, Art Nouveau and Art Déco, Barcelona is, as everybody knows, a paradise. Each street and corner has the potential to enchant with a unique detail.

Then there's Gaudi’s world (Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, La Sagrada Família, Parc Guell, Finca Guell). More than just enjoying the beauty of these works of Art, the most interesting aspect to us was trying to understand them and learn about the author's intentions.

Of course, he wanted to convey nature and natural forms in architectural form, but that's just the more apparent aspect. He was a creative soul and a perfectionist, very detail-oriented, always hiding some secret meaning behind each trace. Finding them became, to us, a special kind of treasure hunt.

Parc Guell, in these photos, is a perfect example of a place where, amidst nature and its forms, new architecture is born that evokes them. The details are many and meticulous, and an unreal environment takes over our senses.

Trabzon's main attraction for art and architecture lovers is the Church of Ayasofya, which was built under Emperor Manuel I Comnenus between 1238 and 1263. Since then it has been restored on several occasions. It was a museum until 2013, when it reverted - controversially - to being a mosque. It is surrounded by attractive landscaped gardens.

This photograph is of the stunning ceiling of the narthex, which is divided into three parts by two stone ribs. The frescoes depict scenes from the life of Jesus Christ. In the centre are symbols of the four evangelists (known as tetramorphs), surrounded by colourful seraphim.

Every image is a gentle negotiation between the seen and the unseen.

Black and white portraits and minimalist places dissolve into a calm, lucid silence—where light sculpts the hidden side of the soul and architecture reveals its poetic geometry.

Moments suspended between consciousness and dream, memory and presence, a journey in the language of introspective visual and photographic poetry.
