The Leadenhall Building, is a 225-metre-tall (738 ft) skyscraper in central London. It opened in July 2014. It is known informally

as The Cheesegrater because of its distinctive wedge shape.

The Gherkin, officially 30 St Mary Axe, is a commercial skyscraper in London's primary financial district, the City of London. It was completed in December 2003 and opened in April 2004. With 41 floors, it is 180 metres (591 ft) tall.

I liked Big Ben very much. It was a beautiful and enormous architecture. In fact, One Canada Square from my previous pictures was influenced by this architecture.

London is the city of young and old, and differences well in harmony, considering....

I liked old buildings and structures in the City of London, and bold and dynamic buildings in the Business district. They know the value of old and heritage buildings, so they maintain them very well.

London was a very clean city considering the number of residents and visitors, except a few tube stations.

People were polite and nice, except a few whom, I guess, every society has and has to endure and live with.

Food was great as well. There were variety of foods and I haven't been any place serving burnt or overcooked food. I could really taste the ingredients fresh and real. After all, they know how to cook and appreciate their food.

The only regret is that I didn't have enough time to walk along the south of River Thames. I always wanted to do that if I ever visit London. There, I could appreciate better view of those old buildings like Big Ben, Parliament house and so on. Also, I could see MI5 Building which is the setting of one of my favourite English TV dramas 'Spooks'.

Overall, London became one of my favourite cities.

Btw, the Security Service (MI5) is a British intelligence agency working to protect the UK's national security against threats such as terrorism and espionage.

Not exactly Waikiki or Bondi.

Changing subject and style completely this week with a few black and white shots from a few museum trips in London.

This one was taken in the British Museum whilst I was having a wander around, I was trying to get a few compositions of this staircase when this person came walking down the stairs.

I looked at my shot when I got home and knew it would work well as a black and white shot, The angle looking down reminded me of an old Hitchcock film or an old film noir spy thriller.

These shots aren't going to be everyone's cup of tea but it's always nice to try different things.
