Found this last September and had never seen the flowers before, although I go past the shrub quite often.

This rose grows in a garden right near the pavement and it has the most amazing scent. Caught it looking at its best in October 2018.

A rather attractive hip-knob that I found back in November 2017.

One last photo of the delightful Scorpion weed. I love this flower, even though it can be an irritant to the skin.

It was growing behind the Town Hall and looked lovely. Taken in July 2019.

When I first found this plant it had rained heavily over night and the flowers were waterlogged, so I went back a few day later to get a photo of them.

Taken in January 2018, but a photo I rather like.

A requested image from my archieves ~ Back story, I had just walked out to one of our garden areas for some flower images. My camera wasn't dialed in for action shots hence the slower shutter speed. Note the bent beak on the aggressor. Not bad for 15yr old technology and bad camera settings.
This was taken at the end of March last year, but it is too far from home to go to at the moment.

I missed the opportunity to shoot the Super Moon - the weather here was cloudy and foggy..so I went thru my archieves and imagined what this SM must have looked like. :-)

An interesting photo I found in my archieves. Of course I want to share it with you! It is not the most spectacular shot I did compared to some other photos but it somehow has this very special touch I think… It has been taken in a lonely alley in the Megacity Shanghai. I can remember pressing the release button and hearing the rich crashing of my Nikon’s mirror but I could not tell you where this place is and how and why I came along this special street.
Maybe you know this feeling. When I am starting to shoot my cityscape photos I plug in some nice music in my iPhone and lurk around searching for a spectacular scene or angle. This is definitely a special one I overlooked a thousand times. This Photo would have never been taken if I wouldn’t lurk around because this Photo is not a standard Shanghai shot!

Feel free to check the link above. It features a nice song which has been quite inspiring to me throughout the last two years.
Perhaps it gives you motivation to be creative. If not it is still a great Song and Video!
So far I wish a great day and keep on posting your high quality images to Flickr. Altough I cannot comment on every single of them I really adore all your photos!

One of my all time favourite birds these interesting shaped stilts coming into land with their huge legs drifting apart from their body, these Black Winged Stilts can be seen in places ranging from Sub-Saharan Africa all way across to central Asia.

I caught this juvenile Song Thrush in the Hawthorn trees last December. Someone told me what I'd caught as I hadn't a clue. It was a first for me as I'd never seen a young one before.
