If something isn't working, try something else. I wasn't happy with the quad moleskine so back to the iPad (and some vibrant color!) while I wait for my preferred moleskines to arrive by mail order.

 

This is a portrait of the artist Kris Kozi - and it was a great photo to work from. I could have kept going... if it weren't after midnight with another long day ahead...

 

What do you guys think about that green forehead? I'm having second thoughts...

My app said there was a 90% chance of a colorful sunset in Sisters, OR yesterday. So I high-tailed it out there and got . . . nothin'. Call me Mr. Ten Percent. The only good news is that I found this vantage point for Mt. Washington, which I had not seen before in previous visits to this area.
