Gahlen, half-elf, half-human son of Henjin Quilones and Galaria, was hard at work as an apprentice to the dwarf and gnome blacksmiths of Druidham. Unfortunately for his romantic ideals, he still hasn't been allowed to pick up a hammer. Just the wheelbarrow. Occasionally his parents check in on him, and his dragon, Koeden, was often there, too, watching from the doorway of the forge.

My entry to the High Fantasy category of the Summer Joust. And also a freebuild for the Guilds of Historica. I've been wanting to do an immersive blacksmith shop for years, so here it is. Yes, the roof is high, but I wanted to convey something epic, and it also needs to be able to fit dragons inside for armor fittings...

“The Apprentice House was built to house the child workers at Quarry Bank. They were given food and board in exchange for their labour. As many as 90 children lived packed in together inside the Apprentice House, sleeping two to a bed.
At the start of the Industrial Revolution, entrepreneurs such as Samuel Greg were looking for cheap labour to power their mills. The apprentice system offered the perfect solution. Children as young as eight years old were brought from workhouses or from their family homes to the Apprentice House.
On arrival, the children were asked to sign an indenture to confirm their employment with Quarry Bank. Some of the children had never learned to write, and so instead of signing their name they simply signed an ‘x’ on the dotted line.” National Trust

It was wearing the special Walt Disney World livery featuring Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice on the tail.
As you have (maybe) seen before I really like the idea of placing custom created characters from Ninjago in a different timeline or theme to create alternate visual stories.
