I was stunned to find the original receipt in the bag in the case!
Now I want an Ibanez DS7 Distortion pedal \m/
The bottom of the cabinet out of the box. It looks like the skids are ready for screw-in castors so I will look into getting an authentic Marshall castor set.
Beer & Editing
Julie and I went to Villa Nova for lunch.
When we got home I had a couple more beers and finally got to editing the Jimmy King interview. The challenge with this interview is that we have two source files due to the fact that there was an issue with the first interview.
Is this the "Bubinga Skunk Stripe" that the forums talk about?
That is my preferred locking nut installation method (through the neck).
A close up of the tremolo claw showing the ground wire. Interesting that they left the shielding on the excess wire past the solder joint.
I think this is an original Ibanez Edge tremolo. Just gathering more intelligence for researching this model.
The tremolo arm on the left is from FU-Tone. The tremolo arm on the right is the stock arm that came with the guitar. It is clear that the FU-Tone arm is beefier and I like the angle of the bend better than the stock arm. Plus, it is engineered to fit the FU-Tone Big Brass Block
Evidently the Marshall employees put their names on the products. My amp was "finished" by R. Daubney
Clinical Trial Blood
We had a clinical trial check in appointment today. I had the coordinator take blood from my right arm since my left arm is screwed up.
We stopped at Ashley HomeStore to see about the furniture warranty since Dharma has destroyed so much of the couch. There is a number we need to call and share the serial numbers of the damaged pieces. Julie thinks that is too much work.
We went to Pies & Pints for dinner. It has been a while!

This will be my gigging amp setup for 4 Finger Shot. I will be replacing the speakers in the 1936 though.
Now in the house and out of the gig bag. Behold! The Fender Alternate Reality Electric XII. The primary differences between these Electric XIIs and the original Electric XIIs are a Pao Ferro fingerboard instead of Rosewood and a 3-way pickup selector instead of a 4-way pickup selector. I am sure the composition of the pickups is different as well. My ultimate goal is to rewire this with a 4-way selector switch like the originals.
I now have three Olympic White guitars.
The base plate of the Seymour Duncan Distortion Trembucker (TB-6). I built this guitar around this pickup. But now I want to put this pickup in my white Charvel Model 3A.
The houses, coupled with the calm sky and the quiet sea, produced a scene that had an overall peaceful feel.
