Vous étiez plus de 50 000 à avoir fait le déplacement pour assister à ce festival pyrotechnique et multimédia sur le parvis de La Défense le 22 septembre 2012 !
Ce matin là le ciel semblait se moquer de nos 'ancêtres, les Gaulois': il faisait comme s'il tombait sur la tête de chacun. Une apparence de chape de plomb gigantesque couvrait toute la région en rasant les monts d'Aubrac. Très au loin je pouvais observer l'éclaircie immense venant de l'ouest qui poussait avec une force inouïe la dépression vers l'est comme si un 'super man' invisible soufflait sur la masse pour la glisser au loin vers les Alpes. Ça et là des trouées de soleil éclairaient les terres mouillées et brillantes et donnaient l'étrange et superbe spectacle de hameaux sertis entre les forêts et de monts et formant comme une mer de houle où parfois la nuée vient en caresser le sommet. Alors je me hâtais de figer le phénomène au téléobjectif, car comme toute photo d'exception, il faut être là au bon endroit et au bon moment. C'est aussi là que la magie opère dans ces vastes prairies vertes, les troupeaux qui paissent semblent s'appeler par des beuglements qui raisonnent en des échos qui se mélangent aux tintements des cloches attachées aux bêtes. C'est un plaisir infini que d'entendre ainsi les champs chanter et s'enchanter de cette paix, de ce calme et de cette sérénité qui pénètre au plus profond de soi et donne ce sentiment, presque ineffable, d'un Eden intérieur, d'une quiétude absolue qui apportent la douceur en l'âme.
Et ce sentiment en soi se poursuivra en d'autres horizons que nous découvrirons en cette belle journée alors que nous faisons le tour du lac de Maury qui se dessine en élégance d'un demi 's' comme la tracée d'un coulis en creux d'une assiette du Chef Brass.
Là encore les parures qu'offrent ces étendues coupent le souffle. Dans un virage, en haut d'une côte, au coeur d'une pente… il faut aller lentement, se baisser, s'agenouiller, toujours à la recherche du plan qui offre, devant une fleur des routes ou des champs, le fin spectacle 'carte postale' de l'harmonie du panorama. Alors que les grillons, camouflés en fourrés, crient après la brise afin quelle en emporte leur message dans les échos des vallons. Alors que les oiseaux voltigent en rebond dans le vide des espaces, comme s'ils allaient à la rencontre de leur apparence invisible, quand ils se baignent dans les couloirs de l'air et se gorgent des effluves du sol. Quand les eaux saphir brillent au satin de leur parure, et quand les nuées, lourdes de leur pluie inachevée, voudraient s'y mélanger mais ne peuvent s'y épouser.
Et puis nous arrivons en haut des prairies en 'est' du lac. Et là j'y trouve l'image du charme et de la beauté sauvage. Alors que le cheptel des vaches d'Aubrac paissent, comme indifférentes devant ce spectacle d'une beauté totale. Image complète où l'on voit à la fois des horizons lointains comme les gorges de la Truyère, les Monts du Cantal, les puys du Cantal. Ces forêts luxuriantes ça et là qui s'étalent en manteau de velours. L'étendue bleue argent du lac en léger méandre. Image de peinture de merveille et de rêve. Image qui ôte les angoisses et les tourments de notre époque violente. Image qui apporte au cœur le réconfort et la paix en l'esprit. Se plonger dans ce paysage donne le sentiment de baigner dans un univers de rêve. D'être enveloppé de la douce chaleur embaumée des senteurs des prairies. Si le vide, contenu dans ces sublimes étendues, pouvaient se dessiner, alors l'on pourrait y circuler tel un oiseau et en esquisser le contenu par la caresse élégante de notre empreinte.
A suivre, plus tard, les larges horizons des monts d'Aveyron et des plaines d'Aubrac.

Tutti hanno qualcosa da nascondere. Quando all'improvviso si scopriranno le carte in tavola, i protagonisti saranno costretti ad affrontare la verità, quella verità che, messa sotto la luce, pone davanti ad una scelta: far cantare il gallo o meno?Il canto del gallo, però, ha sempre delle conseguenze.
Come ci si sente al pensiero di vivere una vita normale e all'improvviso ritrovarsi con un mucchio di mosche in mano?Cosa si fa quando gli equilibri si rompono e ci troviamo a dover affrontare la verità? Chi abbiamo di fronte quando cadono tutte le maschere? Scegliere di vivere alla luce della verità o all'ombra della bugia?
Cinque personaggi, un disegno luci presente, invadente e profondamente vivo, sono gli ingredienti per uno spettacolo che scava dentro allo spettatore mettendolo di fronte al crudele gioco della verità.
In scena Regina Miami, drag queen di fama nazionale. Trucco e parrucco saranno forse la scelta migliore che uomo potesse mai fare!
Il testo è strumento di racconto e drammatizzazione dall'esperienza personale dell'autore, che, grazie a questa storia, a sua volta non reale, eviscera il grande dramma che, a volte, tocca la vita di un uomo: la solitudine, la ricerca di contatto e il bisogno di stare al buio.

Arte Sella
Arte Sella è una rassegna di arte contemporanea nella natura, che si svolge in val di Sella, nel comune di Borgo Valsugana.
Arte Sella è una manifestazione internazionale di arte contemporanea nata nel 1986, che si svolge all'aperto nei prati e nei boschi della Val di Sella (comune di Borgo Valsugana, provincia di Trento).
Ha avuto inizio nel 1986 ad opera di Enrico Ferrari, Emanuele Montibeller e Carlotta Strobele ed è gestita dall'omonima associazione, presieduta da Enrico Ferrari fino al 2000, poi da Laura Tomaselli e, dal marzo 2012, da Giacomo Bianchi. Nel primo periodo (1986-1996) la manifestazione era biennale e si svolgeva presso “Casa Strobele” ed il suo parco. A partire dal 1996 si è sviluppata lungo un percorso sul Monte Armentera, sempre nella Val di Sella, chiamato artenatura. Lungo un sentiero di circa 3 km sono collocate circa 25 opere.
Dal 1998 molte attività espositive si svolgono a "Malga Costa", un edificio rurale isolato collocato nella parte conclusiva della valle. La malga, un tempo privata ed utilizzata per l'allevamento di bovini e per la produzione di prodotti caseari, è ora di proprietà comunale ed ospita gli artisti coinvolti nell'attività della manifestazioni, oltre a mostre ed a servizi per i visitatori. Nell'area circostante Malga Costa sono collocate quasi 30 opere.
Il progetto artistico vuole essere non solo un'esposizione qualificata di opere d'arte, ma anche e soprattutto un processo creativo: l'opera è seguita giorno per giorno nel suo crescere e l'intervento dell'artista deve esprimere il rapporto con la natura basato sul rispetto, traendo da essa ispirazione e stimolo. Le opere sono generalmente tridimensionali, perché ottenute con sassi, foglie, con rami o tronchi; più raramente sono utilizzati oggetti, materiali o colori artificiali e sono collocate all'aperto: il visitatore può così vedere le opere e allo stesso tempo godere delle particolarità ambientali del luogo (diversi tipi di bosco, presenza di rocce, di alberi monumentali...). Esse si inseriscono nel ciclo vitale della natura e sono quindi destinate a subire processi più o meno lenti di trasformazione e degrado, fino alla definitiva scomparsa.
All'esposizione delle opere si affiancano con frequenza concerti, spettacoli teatrali e altri avvenimenti che hanno visto la partecipazione di numerosi artisti di primo piano, quali Marco Paolini, Moni Ovadia, Antonella Ruggiero, Mario Brunello (diventato direttore della programmazione musicale di Arte Sella), i Mercanti di Liquore e Gianmaria Testa.
I principi fondamentali della manifestazione furono così determinati:
L'artista non è il protagonista assoluto come nella corrente artistica della Land Art, caratterizzata da segni fortemente "impressivi" nel territorio;
La natura è considerata la memoria dell'individuo e per questo deve essere difesa;
Il rapporto con l'ecologia si modifica: la natura va interpretata nella sua assenza ed è una fonte di sapere e di esperienza;
Le opere fanno parte e fanno riferimento al luogo ed al tempo definiti; privilegiano l'uso di materiali organici, non artificiali e interagiscono con il paesaggio diventandone parte integrante.
Présentation
Les Numididae forment le groupe des pintades, apparenté à celui des faisans (Phasianidae). Leur tête et leur cou est souvent sans plumes et la peau est très colorée. Leur bec est court, solide et incurvé, typique d’un oiseau omnivore. Leurs ailes sont courtes, typiques des oiseaux non migrateurs, devant effectuer des vols courts mais rapides pour échapper à d’éventuels prédateurs. Par opposition, les oiseaux devant effectuer des vols longs et des migrations ont les ailes larges et grandes.
Alimentation
Les pintades sont omnivores opportunistes. Elles se nourrissent de graines, de feuilles, d’herbes, d’insectes, de fruits et de tout ce que leur bec leur permet d’ingurgiter.
Reproduction
Les nids sont construits au sol et les œufs sont de couleur pâle. Seule la femelle couve, le mâle s’occupant de sa femelle et de la protection du nid. Les œufs sont couvés entre 23 et 28 jours selon l’espèce. L’éclosion de tous les œufs est synchronisée, même s’ils ont été pondus avec quelques jours d’écart, ce qui permet aux adultes de protéger leur progéniture plus efficacement. Les jeunes sont nidifuges, c’est-à-dire qu’ils quittent rapidement le nid et sont capables de se nourrir seuls, mais nécessitent encore la protection de leurs deux parents contre les multiples prédateurs.
Préservation de l’espèce
Bien que chassées par de nombreux carnivores, les pintades sont abondantes dans leur milieu naturel. En outre, elles sont élevées par les hommes pour leur chair ou leurs œufs.

My blackness became apparent and important to me for the first time when arriving to the United States. All the sudden I was black, officially! I was black in the documents that I filled out during school registration; I checked that checkbox that demands for you to fit into some racial category of humankind, even though American history taught me that all men are created equal. My blackness was undeniably evident whenever I walked into a store in downtown New York City as teenager and someone followed me closely in vigilance, just in case I needed help. Or, later upon high school graduation when I could not obtain enough loans to attend a good university regardless of my decent grades and affirmative action. Hence, in this image I profile my flat nose and big lips, noticeable physical traits of my African background. Whereas as a child, I wished my nose and lips resembled more Caucasian features, as an adult I am glad it’s not the case. That would disconnect me from the great African civilizations responsible for erecting pyramids that to this day amaze the human mind in disbelief; from my black grandfather, probably the direct descendant of African slaves, who was a respected man his town back in the Dominican Republic; from people of color everywhere world in their struggle for equality, respect and dignity. Shit! Thanks God I am black!

Photographed at Tierra del Sol GC on 7 April 2013. Obviously a Myiarchus. Smaller than BC Flycatcher, which grabbed my attention when the bird flew up. At first it was facing me, and I was rather surprised to see absolutely no rufous in the undertail, despite good lighting. The underparts were pale, with the whitish gray throat bleeding into upper belly. Belly buttery yellow. I then noticed the bird's bill, which did not look as large as that of a BC Flycatcher. Additionally, the pinkish color extended far out on the mandible. The base of the maxilla also seemed pinkish, at least near cutting edge. The head and auriculars seemed darker than those of a BC Flycatcher (at least USA version), and contrasted fairly sharply with the throat (note that the bright brown crown is largely/partly artifact as it is the only part of the head in sun, the rest in shade. The bird flipped around, so that its back was facing me. The back and tail were dull grayish-brown. The wings showed no rufous that I could see, but the tertials were contrastingly edged in white or whitish. The bird did not vocalize. It was about 20 or so feet away. Another apparent lycid beetle mimic. This one landed on my hat as I was riding my bike. I took my hat off, instantly recognized what it was, and clasped my hand over it against my chest till I could stop and put it in a pill sorter cubicle.
LIVECAST RADAR OBS: It is now apparent where the heaviest snow is going to set up (area inside red). The low continues to deepen (about 988mb now). Given a few last minute observations, the storm is colder and slightly east. Colder means higher snow accumulations are possible. We (EPAWA) went with 3-6 inches in our jackpot zones (which could be 30-40 miles east of our map) but I wouldn't be sur

The slightly east track of the low doesn't really matter snow-wise because precipitation is making it far west enough for what is happening now. It will/could however lessen winds along the shore. But given the fact that there's a 4 foot storm surge predicted, 10 foot waves, and already winds gusting to 45mph on offshore buoys...it it already a nuisance for areas recently hit by Sandy.
