I love the *almost* Art Deco communist style of this image at University of Phoenix Stadium. A hard-working, ready for the world couple, ready to tackle what appears to be a mish-mash of UoP Stadium, downtown Phoenix architecture, Roosevelt Dam, and some Spanish revival style houses in the background. Don't forget the barrell cacti!
Reminds me a little of the always forward looking Communist propaganda. Here is one example: www.millersantiquesguide.com/uploads/ImageRoot/images/U4R...
All the commentary aside, I would love a copy in my house. I love the style. I love SRP.
Anything is possible in this image.
44/52 Cosentino the Grand Illusionist has released his first book on his life, βAnything is Possibleβ. It is one of the most beautiful books I have ever seen/read. The languare, illustrations & aesthetics are wonderful. The thickness of the pages. This inspires man me so much. I am not a bookworm at all, I sometimes think Iβm the only introvert who doesnβt enjoy books. I am, however, enjoying this book. Cosentino comes to a shopping centre a distance from my home & I had my book signed. I got there as early as possible in case the queue was too long & I was the first one there. They hadnβt finished setting up the table yet!

Most of the Chamberlain Square façade has now been exposed.
Meanwhile Congreve Passage has been closed.
I had to head towards Newhall Street to get to the other side of Great Charles Street Queensway, before using the old subway to get back to Centenary Square.

"Love is the emotion of strong affection and personal attachment.[1] In philosophical context, love is a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion, and affection. In religious context, love is not just a virtue, but the basis for all being ("God is love"), and the foundation for all divine law (Golden Rule).
The word love can refer to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from generic pleasure ("I loved that meal") to intense interpersonal attraction ("I love my wife"). "Love" can also refer specifically to the passionate desire and intimacy of romantic love, to the sexual love of eros (cf. Greek words for love), to the emotional closeness of familial love, or to the platonic love that defines friendship. [2] to the profound oneness or devotion of religious love. [3] This diversity of uses and meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, even compared to other emotional states."
Ponder love.

""It doesn't matter what we do. Whatever happened, happened." - [Daniel Faraday.]
I'm a very openminded person, and a firm believer in the idea that ANYTHING in this world is possible. It annoys me to an extent when people up and decide that based on their beliefs that something is NOT possible when in reality NOTHING has been proven true or false.
This goes for religion, the afterlife, everything.
But I had an incident that occured earlier today that made me think about destiny, coincidence, fate and free will.
Ever have one of those moments where you arrive at a specific place, at a specific time with a specific intention and you arrive to a decision you need to make? I believe that these are the crossroads or check points of our lives.
As much as I don't like the idea of not being in control of my life and not having a say in where my life will eventually go, its hard sometimes to ignore some of the obvious signs that sometimes we get a little push in certain directions. that we meet people for specific reasons, or arrive at certain places to discover certain things or be taught certain lessons.
But even though we are meant to arrive at said location or meet said people we unlike some animals possess free will, and this changes the outcome of w/e we were or were not supposed to do.
example:
my sister told me a story of when her boss was going out to lunch, but no one was going with her, so she asked her to go. my sister not typically being the one to go with anyone alone for some reason this time said yes, they found out at lunch that they had a lot in common and eventually this led to my sister getting a new job.
what if she had said no? where would her life be right now had she made the decision to say no?
she came to a turning point and made a decision based on free will and thus that one action had a ripple affect in her future which will have another affect down the line when she comes to another checkpoint where another decision has to be made.
but whose to say that she didnt also say no? maybe her saying no to the lunch with her boss happened. and I know your looking at me now like "wtf?" but hear me out, what if alternate realities really existed, what if w/e small decision that we do or don't make at a young age branches off into another existence to see how that plays out?
as a baby your crawling down a hallway and you have to choose to go left or right, so you go left, but instead of that being the end of it the opposite side of your same coin went right and thus came out with another outcome than when YOU went left.
....
I know i'm not making any sense, lol.
but like i said, I believe in a lot of things, and I don't think it's wise to keep a close mind especially when there are so many mysteries in this world that have yet to be explained.
Doesn't help that i'm watching LOST either. [shrugs]. Would like some opinions on the matter but somehow I doubt too many people are going to look at this. we'll see.
"I think that's why you and I don't see eye to eye sometimes, Jack. Because you're a man of science. [ and what does that make you?] Me? Well, I'm a man of faith. Do you really think all this is an accident? That we, a group of strangers, survived. Many of us with just superficial injuries. You think we crashed on this place by coincidence? Especially this place. We were brought here for a purpose. For a reason. All of us. Each one of us was brought here for a reason." - [John Locke.]

Sports shop in Huangshan City (Tunxi), China.
It's quite impressive that they've managed to combine a variation of the logo of one very famous worldwide brand with a similar slogan to another. This being China, there are another four different sports shops on this street that appear to have ripped off the logo of this establishment!
