July 11, 2021, Irvine,California USA: Representative KATIE PORTER (D-CA) speaks at "Policy In The Park", an outdoor town hall meeting to discuss current bipartisan policies and initiatives affecting constituents. Philip Cary Plait the 48 year old American Astronomer known as ‘The Bad Astronomer’ skeptic, writer and popular science blogger has published an article on Slate titled ‘Why is Our Government Attacking Science?’. In the article Plait states “What the hell is going on with my government? I’m used to attacks on science; they’ve been endemic for years now. Antivaxxers, global warming deniers, creationists, what have you. And I’ve even gotten used to, at some level, egregiously antiscience rhetoric and machinations from government officials. But over the past few days and weeks things seem to have gone to 11. I’m reeling from the absolute unfettered nonsense and sheer manipulation going on by our elected officials, and I’ll be honest: It’s scary. To start, Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas), who is a global warming denier, by the way, is the head of the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. He has recently decided that the National Science Foundation—a globally respected agency of scientific research and investigation—should no longer use peer review to fund grants. Instead it should essentially get political permission for which research to fund. This is not a joke. Smith wants politics to trump science at the National Science Foundation. This prompted a brilliantly indignant letter from Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-Texas), who calls this idea “destructive” to science. She’s right. What Smith is doing strongly reminds me of Lysenkoism, when the Soviet government suppressed science on genetics and evolution that didn’t toe the party line. In these attacks on the NSF, a few lines of research have been highlighted that sound silly out of context. We’ve seen this before from those on the far right who attack science… Those government officials may be the ones doing all these awful things, but we’re the ones who, in the end, decide if they can even be in the position to make these attacks. And we need to do something about it.” Inspired by Phil Plait, Slate ow.ly/l5tWE Image source Facebook ow.ly/l5u49

Parents stood up against State politicians for their attempts to strip them of their rights over their children. Many pulled their children out of school on December 5, 2019 and held a rally outside Governor Andrew Cuomo's offices in Manhattan to stand in solidarity against the controversial bills being proposed that would allow children to be vaccinated with STD vaccines such as GARDASIL without parental knowledge or consent. Part of a protest northbound on Yonge Street, here near Bloor Street. Their final destination was probably Queen's Park. Agenda 2030 is about eradicating poverty and achieving sustainable development. Besides anti-maskers, there were anti-vaxxers, QAnon types, anti-Trudeau and anti-Doug Ford protesters. A woman lit some candle (evening of July 29, 2022, Vienna/Austria, in front of the ministry of health) in remembrance of Dr.M.D. Lisa-Maria Kellermayr, who committed suicide in a small town in Upper Austria, after she were bullied and stalked bec. of her engagement against corona, by so called covidiots (extremist opponents of vaccination and measurements against coronavirus) and got no help from local police.

Health minister Johannes Rauch (Government Party `The Green Ones´ and into ultra right-wing coalition with `Peoples party´ OEVP), who canceled all measurements till number of infections rises extremely, supporting antivaxxers and Quanon-devotees by completely absurd corona policy, saying `pandemia is over´ -so the minister is part of these present alarming developments in Austria and now target of upcoming protest.

A much bigger remambrance gathering in Vienna, is pronounced to Monday, 1st of August.

Tapp was the officer of the health in the 7th arrondissement of Paris in the late 1790s; he was asked by the mayor to look into introducing vaccination into that part of the city, but instead launched an unrestrained attack on what he saw as "une pure charlatannerie". This is recounted in Franc̦ois Colon, 'Histoire de l'inoculation et des progrès de la vaccine en France', Paris : Le Normont, 1801

She was part of the anti-vaxxer protest demonstration that began in front of the Toronto Police headquarters building on College Street. Here she is on Bay Street.
