Shah Jahan did everything he could to build the Taj Mahal to perfect symmetry. He built a mosque to the west of the Taj. On the eastern side, he build another building called a "jawab" (answer). This building is nearly identical to the mosque, but since it doesn't face mecca it doesn't include a mihrab, and therefore cannot be used as a mosque.
On Georgia just "west" of Richards. I don't know the name of the building. Posted as a hardcore answer to this posting in Guess Where Vancouver.
Departure from my usual hardcore practice of matching the photo as closely as I can. I didn't have time to wander down the block to shoot from the proper angle.
