i'm proud of that :)

This necklace reminds me of walks on the beach in the summer sun, with its shell and wood beads on a hemp cord.

The necklace is crocheted from a light colored tan hemp cord. Strung on the necklace are four plain round wood beads, two oval wood beads with a design, two larger round wooden beads (also with a printed design), two swirl-shaped shell beads, and another shell in the center.

The entire necklace is about 39" (99.1 cm) long (including extra cord to tie with where it isn't crocheted), but the crocheted, thicker part is about 19" (48.3 cm). You tie the necklace in the back, so it can fit any size neck, and can be worn tighter or looser (personally I usually wear this style as a choker). I have put some glue on the ends to keep the cord from frying.

This necklace would also work as an anklet! If you'd like it as that, just trim off some of the extra hemp on the end and knot it or tie it around your ankle, and you're good to go!

Also, ignore that stray bit of cord on the right of the model- the wind was blowing so it got pushed up on her shoulder; normally that part where it ties stays behind your neck, or you can cut the cord shorter.

My feet look like baby feet I think... I hate my feet but ooooh well. Also my toe nails are kinda screwed up lately...

Showing off my anklets that a dear friend brought me back from India a couple of years ago. I had misplaced them but I was so happy to find them in a drawer today. I think they make my feet look especially nice (as far as feet go). You can also observe my prominent sandal tan.

They fit just about exact, maybe a tad small, but no half sizes available.

The anklet I bought in Kenting, one side is an elephant and the other side is a bell. They came from Thailand ( I guess).

Wearing her blouse and skirt, but the cute heels are all mine!

A casual hemp anklet made with my blockpartypress beads. Blogged here.

Using some acrylic/nylon yarn I had bought at the markets and knit up these little socks from my list of patterns I wanted to try. Very quick, quite simple. Very satisfying :)
