In Possotome, all the villages along Lake Aheme congregate once a year for a giant voodoo dance competition. This woman had anklets strung with bottlecaps which jingled as she danced.
It is really difficult to take a picture of your own ankle! This anklet was a late birthday present for my sister. It's made from aluminum jump rings in silver and two shades of blue and has glass beaded drops from each chainmaille point. It clasps with a lobster clasp.

Just one of the four cute little anklets i have on my ankle. They make the most annoying jingle but to me it's normal. It annoys everyone else!

Anklet socks in progress. My first picot edging... always thought it was too girly, but I might reconsider. It's so... pretty!
