The lagoons in Del Mar have various paths used for running or end at various places with nowhere else to go. This random swinging fence is what can be found here, as well as other sundry unexpected things. I had the wrong film for the day - high speed HP5+ for a sunny day outside - but was playing with my FED 1 (over 70 year old gear with a loading system created to instill patience and thoughtfulness for the respective user) and couldn't change it easily. Grain is there but I think tonality was very reasonable.
This photo shows a tree behind the exactly the sun is . It was recorded in Germany with an Olympus OMD EM 10 and an Olympus 9-18 mm wide-angle lens .
Sussex Martlets batsman plays forward defensive shot against MCC at Arundel, making interesting angles.
Angle Shades caught in my trap on 23rd August. One of the easier moths to handle and photograph, and what a beauty!

Replaced after a few alterations.
Having spent as cold a bivouac as I can remember, a series of warming up exercises were necessary in order not to become totally ineffective at operating a camera. Star jumps, press ups, shadow boxing & other random rapid movements restored blood flow & saw off any pesky sheep intent on 'photo-bombing' Angle Tarn. Even the ravens were eyeing me suspiciously.
Another shot from the potato fields earlier in the year with the deep furrows!

There's a minor pond in a little town in Frederick County, Maryland that gave me a huge but simple scene to photograph
while back in the eastern US for the holidays.
Angles Pond was the name I gave this little water feature on the edge of a charming town called Burkittsville, in Maryland. There are a lot of angles in this particular capture, and I chose to name the pond after the photo's character, primarily so I'll remember it
far into the future.
I have a great many photographs of ponds, each one with a different name and, as such, a different and unique identification.
Angles Pond is now added to that list. So far this mnemonic device is working pretty well.
