Taken at Martin and Sharon's house. I had to run home after working a 12 hour shift to get my tripod. All the way home I kept hoping the sky would stay slightly overcast which it did enabling me to get these photos. Towards the end of the shoot it started to rain and I took this as a sign that my time was over on the photo shoot.
My purses are designed, hand knitted, felted, sewn and beaded by me personally. This purse is loaded with detail. It is a blend of two 100% wool yarns, one of which was hand dyed by my husband. Beautiful custom glass bead work and tassel. All natural bamboo handles. This purse is not felted.

I looked and looked for some acute angles and obtuse angles since most angles I saw were right angles. I finally found some on the side of the back porch as we came home from church.
The shadows bent at impossible angles that Tuesday night, as three obsidian felines conducted their midnight orchestra on the fire escape. Their tails – precise metronomes of chaos – swept across rusty railings while a half-moon hung suspended like a broken plate in the sky. Madame Dupont from 3B swore she heard them reciting Baudelaire in perfect French, but then again, she also claimed her teacup predicted the stock market through its tea leaves. The cats carried on their symposium of shadows, occasionally pausing to lick their paws with the deliberate concentration of philosophers contemplating existence, their relucent eyes fixed on something in weiter Ferne, so nah . When morning came, all that remained were three perfect circles of frost on the metal stairs, each exactly fourteen and a half centimeters in diameter, slowly evaporating in the pallid February sun.

Un petit morceau d'aprés midi sur Confluence. Le temps de faire le tour par les quais Rambaud et repartir jusqu'à la pointe. Un quartier qui change, qui évolue et qui progressivement va transformer la pointe lyonnaise en un drôle d'endroit.

Shot with SB-900 + Strobies Portabox handheld up and to the right. Black background achieved through having the living room dark with the D600 set to it's fastest sync speed and the camera stopped all the way down limiting light. Additionally, the flash was powered down to -2.3 limiting it's output to prevent too much of the environment being lit.
