2021.02.04 - Snow makes it all the more difficult for peope wh have no driveways or garages leaving them to -ark their cars on the street.. digging out after a heavy snowfall forces them to angle their cars so its easier to get out of their parking spaces.

Colors are beautiful, it is ZEN when held in hand and ran thru fingers.

We are parked at the top of the racing circuit at Mt Panorama in Bathurst NSW Australia. Ian and Johnny were sitting in the car while I took some photos.
I decided this would be the next comp I would work on. There was nothing extra special about this. I liked the angle this was shot at and taking on the 3 buildings in 1 comp. I caught this as I was walking to another building I was looking to shoot. When I go into LA I am constantly looking around looking for new angles of composition. People must think something is coming from the sky as I am walking because 90% of the time I am walking and driving looking at an upward angle. The driving part is tricky but can be perfected with practice.
The number of layers and versions is an insane amount. Being new to this processing takes a lot of work to see the light, angles, shapes and luminosity. I really do enjoy looking at a shot from every angle and trying different lighting schemes. It takes some trial and error. The joy is once you find the theme and lighting scheme you want to go with the comp comes together nicely but not without many more hours of shading and highlighting to create the vision. Each building is processed individually as well as the sky but as a whole to the final outcome. I do very little global adjustments. I have never used so many selections, each building is a selection as well as windows, arches, poles, panes, ridges and sky.
I am really not sure of the hours put in, I should clock in and clock out so I know how many hours I put in on a comp but that would seem to much like work. Thanks again to Joel Tjintjellar and his Master Class Video.

This collage follows the same template as my Canon EOS Prime Lens collage so comparing lenses between the two should be easy. I am not as familiar with these lenses as I am with Canon's lenses and there is a fair chance I might have left one or two out, if I did I would like to know. Like the Canon lense collage, I divided the lense market into: budget lenses, mid-range lenses, and high-end lenses. It is not as easy to differentiate between high-end lenses as with Canon, because Canon designated their high-end lenses with "LSeries". Just like Canon, all of the telephoto primes are high priced, but I divided them up mainly based on lense speed. New Sony owners should be Aware that there are older Minolta lenses out there that they could buy for their new cameras.

Following the road to grasp
something, a thing, anything,
brings me to the technique
of comparing.
As soon as I compare
it with the environment,
I can allocate it, so that
this thing, something, anything,
fits into my world which I build up,
my picture, construct,
my idea of life
in which I live,
which I must live within.
So everyone creates
their own puzzle,
whilst strolling
along the alley of time,
and the pieces
one gets to see,
do influence the big picture.
But how to get a nice, friendly
and warm idea of this world?
How to get an episteme,
in which even contentment feels
welcome and starts to settle down?
Let me whisper now:
“The angle it is, which does the trick.”
Not “what”, but “how” you see,
can make the difference.
So now please choose the title of this picture:
“Woman walking in a wood.” or
“Passing two old watchmen
on the wayfare of life.”
