If you try this at home (it's super easy with VMWare), the Escape key and the arrow keys are your best friends.

 

If you just want to browse the web, start typing, a Google search appears (natch). Their doesn't seem to be any way of getting apps onto the thing, but I haven't futzed around very much.

A quick video of what I've been working on the past couple days. I'm putting down my other projects to focus on Android development this month, at least. When I found out that the G1 I pre-ordered has a built-in camera (naturally), accelerometer (cool), and magnetometer (!!!), I realized I could rewrite my Orientation Aware Camera program to run with no extra hardware. I just have to do it. So here's the first step: rendering a static skybox. I'm still learning to work around the limitations of OpenGL ES.
