On the floor of the Long Island Sound is an ancient stone flood channel. There appears to have been sculpted heads shaped in the stones of those rock formations, but I can't be sure.

I am calling this site the Wallis Budge Glyphic Site, named after the Curator of the British Museum who saved so many Egyptian artifacts, and wrote so many Egyptian Historical books still meaningful today.

And of course my amateur opinion, the Egyptians were in the Americas, thousands of years before Columbus.

This area, to the West of Ireland, Southwest of England, Northeast of the Azores, contains many incredible landmarks, possibly even of the Atlantean legend.

What is most interesting is the labeling of the circle in the mid left, called Cocytus, and relabeled according to the key as "Acqua Mordi", Sea of the Dead. To its left is the Monti Poseida, Mountain of Poseidon, and to its right, Golfo Poseida, Gulf of Poseidon. Much more on this, as I interpret more of it.

I am now convinced that the original Atlantean location was at the Dacia Seamount...

But as the rising mud sediment and waters drowned out the Dacia Seamount areas (9 to 14,000 feet deep) and made it impassible and unlivable, I believe the Atlantean location was moved North towards Ireland and England, which shows depths of between 100 to 12,000 feet deep, much more livable.

So, in effect, I am calling this area, "Plausible Atlantis 2, mid-Flood".

My final installment, to be posted later, will probably aim towards the Yucatan and Tenochtitlan-Mexico as "Plausible Atlantis 3, Post Flood".

The Birdman Tablet was found near Monk's Mound, dates to c. 1300 AD, and is made of sandstone. The front shows a man dressed in what is thought to be a ceremonial bird costume in a traditional dancer's pose. The back has a diamond cross-hatching or snakeskin pattern. Perhaps the two designs allude to a dualistic religion with both sun worship and chthonic elements.

Everyone Please Keep Voting for the Pepsi Refresh Everything - Save Cahokia Mounds

You can and should vote every day!!

I spent many a weekend there doing reports for my anthropology classes and it would be a shame for any more of the complex to be lost!

Cahokia Mounds is the largest Pre-Colombian earthen construction north of Mexico.

The original site contained 120 earthen mounds, with 104 still in existence, and only about 68 are currently protected by the park's boundaries.

At it's peak, Cahokia was one of the greatest cities of the world with a population of about 20,000 people; in 1250 AD, it was larger than London. They had trade routes that stretched from the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico, and to the American Southwest. They also had a "Woodhenge" which is made up of 48 wooden posts in a 410-foot diameter circle and can be used to determine the exact date of all four equinoxes. It is also one of the only Pre-Colombian sites north of Mexico that participated in human sacrifice (see Mound 72).

By the late 1300's it had been abandoned, and wasn't "discovered" until 1699 when the French wandered through.

There used to be dozens of mounds in St. Louis, however they were all bulldozed in the name of progress. Now only one remains, probably only because there was a private residence atop it, and it is currently owned by the Osage Nation

The red Commer belonged to the lovely Marky Bish, my partner in crime throughout my 'peasant' years. We decided to throw away the restrains of modern society and go back to seasonal farm work and living as simply as possible. Some of my favourite times.

The '57 AEC was my home for 5 years or so. A beautiful thing that I should never have sold...

Increased detail of the overlay of the "Aten"-Discus Thrower, and the Olympian inferrence..."Your one God theory is all wrong, your Aten circle is all wrong, we are disgracing your Aten symbol and nobody cares, the Greek Olympian pantheon is the best", etc. etc.

Another great picture, taken by my old Dad.

Methodist church parade in Peel Street, Winson Green. Probably sometime in 1961.

The Boys Brigade were from a church down on Villiers Street I think. The rabble of kids at the bottom of the street included me and were from the Sunday School in Peel Street itself. I lived in Peel Street from 1955 to 1967. I had a great childhood there.
