Fortune Brainstorm Reinvent 2018

September 24-25, 2018

Chicago, IL, USA

Fortune, together with McKinsey & Company, will convene a new conference that is rooted in the idea that leaders in every industry are confronting the need to transform their organizations for the digital age. New technologies, new competitors, and new consumer expectations make this an urgent requirement. We aim to put the spotlight on companies that are doing this well, and to assist others at various stages of their transformational journeys.

Brainstorm Reinvent is a 1.5 day, invitation-only gathering of C-suite leaders. Confirmed participants include CEOs Stewart Butterfield of Slack, John Furner of Sam’s Club, Mindy Grossman of Weight Watchers, Gregory Hayes of United Technologies, Barbara Humpton of Siemens U.S., Aaron Levie of Box, and Mark Thompson of New York Times Co., as well as McKinsey Global Managing Partner Kevin Sneader; IBM VP and Chief Leadership, Learning, and Inclusion Officer Deb Bubb; P&G Chief Research, Development, and Innovation Officer Kathy Fish; Walgreens COO Alex Gourlay; Microsoft Executive VP Peggy Johnson; Dow CIO Melanie Kalmar; Wells Fargo Senior EVP Mary Mack; Former U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker; McDonald’s Chief Digital Officer Farhan Siddiqi; and GM VP of Urban Mobility and Maven Julia Steyn.

The 2018 Brainstorm Reinvent co-chairs are Fortune Executive Editor Adam Lashinsky, Fortune Senior Writer Beth Kowitt, Fortune Deputy Editor Brian O’Keefe, and former GE Vice Chair Beth Comstock.

Brainstorm Reinvent participants will engage in a powerful exploration of ways to accelerate the digital and analytics transformation in their organizations. Topics covered will include the talent and culture equation, bringing innovation to scale, growth, the role of AI and analytics, and partnerships and acquisitions. Our programming will offer a mix of interactive sessions, as well as master classes led by McKinsey partners.

GC-MS analysis

Gas chromatography (GC)- mass spectrometry (MS) is our high resolution analytical method to identify different substances in the treated samples. We can exclusively determine wide rage of volatile and semi-volatile chemical compounds (e.g. pharmaceuticals, stabilizers etc.) in a low concentration range.

The extracted samples are transferred to vials and these vials are labeled uniquely and precisely.
