This website is intended to the music field, and since I’m an audio recording major this website and designer called my attention. This designer works a lot with the music category and has made several sites for music companies or products. I like the color scheme he used for this website. It says a lot about the actual product/client, it shows the elegant and prestigious line of pianos Steinway & Son make and sell. Not only is this website to sell pianos but it also give information about the company, what it is about, introducing artists and talents, institutions, their most current news and events, and also information on where to buy their pianos. I like how the designer placed the navigation bar at the top really suits this website, easy to navigate, comprehend, and having the pianos come up as you hover over the “Our Pianos” section with out actually clicking on that link is something I like, it gives a small glimpse of their most prestigious and popular pianos. The website is simple and to the point, not over crowded with unnecessary junk, very classy.

Critical Analysis
I feel that there are alot of improvements to be made to my final animation. This is because my characters rig was difficult to work with and didnt give me alot of movement of the character. There was a problem with it that happened early on but i didnt realise untill i was tring to animate it. The jont rotation was wrong and my walk cycle could have been better. At this time i am not the best at animating but hopefully over the next semester this will change and improvements will be made.
I am very happy with the modeling side of this assignment. This is where my streanghts are i enjoy modeling alot and would love to do a bigger more complex scene on a more powerfull computer. Ufortunatly i have to work to my computers limitations. The character could have had more emotion in his face but as yet i have not learnt how to use blend shapes so i thought i would just do what i understood. For my next animation i will concentrate more on the animation and make a more believeable character
with clearer emotions and thoughts. This character howsery little emotion with most of the feeling coming from the camera movement and lighting.
The lighing is also another area that i enjoy. I like creating atmosphere with the lighing and a feeling of fear. I feel that the lighting goes some way to making up for the lack of emotion on the characters face. Overall i feel that this animation is quite well done with a good scene and character, and a good sence of atmosphere. The major failings as already explained are the characters poor animations with lack of subtalites and emotions.

This one got started as my own hand as I was sketching. However, in a fit of concentration lapse, the pen became crooked. Well, that's when my inner developer's never-say-die spirit took over, and the pen took shape of a scientific instrument - a pair of tongs maybe. Now, that's what you call an in-depth analysis. ;)
