My first time using film!

 

The film was ISO400 and the camera was an old Nikon FG with a 50mm lens. We wandered around East York, starting with the Food Truck festival in Woodbine Park.

I recently discovered I had an old roll of film, and I took some pictures with it. It had gone out of date, that's why it has those violet tones. Because I didnt know if the pics would come out ok, I did a lot of experiments with that roll, so a lot of the images were not as good as to post them here. Luckily, some images came ok. What you are watching are some of those. // Hace poco descubrí que aún guardaba un viejo carrete de fotos, así que decidí usarlo. Resulta ser que estaba caducado, por eso las imágenes tienen esos tonos violeta. Como no sabía si las fotos saldrían bien, he experimentado bastante con este carrete. Por suerte, algunas imágenes salieron bien; son las que estáis viendo.

Die Henrichshütte ist ein ehemaliges Hüttenwerk in Hattingen (Deutschland).

Gegründet wurde die Henrichshütte 1854. Ihren Namen erhielt sie auf Anregung des ersten Hüttendirektors Carl Roth nach dem Grafen Henrich zu Stolberg-Wernigerode (1772–1854). Sie war eines der traditionsreichsten Hüttenwerke des Ruhrgebietes, bekannt für ihren Edelstahl.

Trotz wechselnder Eigentumsverhältnisse (1904–1930 Henschel & Sohn, 1930–1963 Ruhrstahl, 1963–1974 Rheinstahl, ab 1974 Thyssen AG) blieb der Name Henrichshütte stets bestehen. Ab 1987 wurde die Henrichshütte stillgelegt (1987 Hochofen 2 und 3 sowie das Walzwerk, 1993 Stahlwerk, 2003 Schmiede).
