Not much to say as my thoughts run deep and divided on this Memorial Day Weekend. I salute and thank EVERYONE who has served, and especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep myself, my family, and my loved ones safe in this Country.

Yesterday we celebrated military appreciation day.. it really was a fantastic event.. the Event is called Thunder Over Augusta.. and so I was out with my Flickr buddies doing our thing and taking pictures of people and I instantly fell in love with this young lady..
Anthony A (last name withheld by me) was more than happy to stand for a portrait for me today. According to him, he is a member in good standing in the Director's Guild of America, so he is familiar with the "creative process". He has also had a book of his poetry published, and, at one point, had one of his paintings hanging in the Art Institute. "For a minute there, I was almost famous. Almost famous. Guess that's better than being "not almost famous".
