The Dodge WC54 Ambulance was a military vehicle produced by Dodge during World War II. It was based on the Dodge WC series of trucks and was primarily used as a medical transport for injured soldiers. The vehicle had space to carry stretchers, medical supplies, and a medical personnel. It featured a 4x4 drivetrain, a robust engine, and a heavy-duty suspension to navigate various terrains. The WC54 Ambulance played a crucial role in providing medical assistance on the front lines during the war.

Those Glen Lerner (or insert your local ambulance-chasing lawyer here) billboards always do their best to spoil a scene- not like the intersection of 14th Street and Western Avenue is exactly awe-inspiring, especially not once Mother Nature decides to make your day worse with a massive cloudbank... but I wasn't standing smack in the middle of one of the busiest streets in Chicago like a blithering idiot for nothing, after all (or maybe I was, you be the judge).

The almost hilariously generically-named local watering hole, the... Water Hole, seems to be providing some genuine entertainment, maybe a throwback to the days before this area became a dumping ground for steel boxes full of hyperconsumerist junk. For some reason, an actual pedestrian wanders around on the street below- perhaps he's waiting for the bus which will show up in 3, then 4, then 6, then 9, then 28 minutes...
