This picture of unidentified insects was taken near the Grand River in Brantford, Ontario. I previously had these identified as Brown Ambrosia Aphids but this is in doubt. They may be Boxelder Bug Nymphs or Milkweed Bug Nymphs.

The most aptly named variety of plant, bar none. Truly the food of the gods. Not one that you can buy in the grocery store, as it doesn't ship very well, but the flavor makes every bit of the effort of gardening worthwhile.
