Close-up showing monoecious flowers with males clustered in the terminal raceme and single female flowers in the axils of the leafy bracts
Two views of a plate I turned and finished just this morning. The wood is ambrosia maple and gets its name and color from being attacked by the ambrosia beetle. There are a bunch of holes that I guess must have been caused by the beetle and give the piece some extra character. It's 7 3/4" in diameter (19.5 cm). Finished with polyurethane and rubbed out with pumice and oil.

My first Momiji doll arrived some time ago. It´s so cute! <3 If you´re wondering why all of Ambrosia´s pics are taken eyes closed that´s cause I rechipped her but didn´t like them. Her eyes are too disturbing color so they stay closed till I find better ones. x)

At first I thought those were cherry tomatoes mixed in with the marshmallows, but it turns out that they're actually cherries. Which makes much more sense.
