HAPPY WINDOW WEDNESDAY(S) !!
IMO, Pharmacie de l'étoile (Star Pharmacy) is a "star" visually, both outside and inside. Inside, the ambience is equally old-fashioned with lots of carefully preserved wood cabinetry and marble surfaces. Interestingly, while they clearly provide all the latest pharmaceutical products, they also provide a variety of hard-to-find, old-fashioned ones too. That is indicated in part by the information in the right window: Herboristerie (Herbalism). There are always lots of customers.
Re the sculpted figure at upper left:
I have no idea who is represented. If any of you know, please tell me.
Re my caption:
It is good, I think, to remember that pharmacists want to help you remain well or if you are not well, become well again.

In my album; Dan's Windows.
I had an idea to do a mostly silver flapper-y human look, but struggled to find any suitable silver pants/jeans. After a bit of searching around, the idea became more mer and I added maroon to the color scheme via the tail, lips, & nails.
I would share the blush and lips, but the blush was fully done in editing, and the lips were modified a fair bit so it may be an unfair representation of them.

Roxy Marketing members and Roxy PR Interns cut and pasted Roxy Follow Your Heart Tour flyers to candle votives. It was a great way to advertise the tour and look absolutely adorable at the same time! Martha Stewart should be jealous of the Roxy Team's ingenuity! Visit Roxy.com for more info!

They also provide ambience to the visiting experience as they sit up in the trees there and their surprisingly loud calls sound very "jungle-y" to me. I actually initially though there were hidden loudspeakers playing the sound before learning that it was these little guys.
I like to play with light to create various ambient conditions, moods, or whatever in my home. My latest foray into creative lighting appears, at least to me, to resemble a flower...somewhat.
Close-up- Ken & I went to an estate sale at the Wallace house- commissioned in the 1960s and designed by Paul Rudolph. We were told that Mr.Wallace designed all the light fixutures throughout the house- they were outstanding!! :)
The evening we turned up here I was to be disappointed re the tide being low and all the surfers leaving the ocean with some regret and more and more people rolling up to just enjoy the autumn sunset. Photographers taking one look and giving up as no rushing water in those channels etc but I like the others hanging around just settled to enjoy the moment. There are crowds of people behind me but everyone was in a good mood and I chatted to a few who lived there or who had an auntie living close by so they could visit whenever they wanted to. It was sort of special without being spectacular - if you know what I mean. Jonathan and our dogs are just out of sight to the right and Merry and Beau just enjoyed having the ball thrown for them. I am a people watcher as I imagine most photographers are unless purely landscape photographers and enjoyed getting a few photos' and felt the mood comes across well in this shot but have a few more with some of the gathered hordes in them. I found the ambience came over in this shot and the ceaseless washing in and out of the ocean and the end of another wonderful day....Sue :)
