On Easter Sunday, 8th April, I went on a campaign visit to Morfa beach with the "Save Morfa Beach" facebook group. One of the attractions for me was the wreck of the Amazon, I had no idea it was so large!

Regarding this

Remove the rubberized battery/card slot cover. Make sure the power switch is in off position.

My 1968 Volvo Amazon Estate has the later B20 engine with overdrive, a lightened crank, fuelie head with Volvo race part valves (possibly sodium filled), steel timing gears, performance cam and followers, down draught Weber on a Pierce inlet manifold, IPD front anti-roll bar and a performance exhaust system and bilsteins shocks all round.

The car was originally Dark Green with a tan interior.

The previous owner owned the car for 17 years…it was his work horse, before that it was previously owned by Lt. Commander Robert Sloane (N.A.T.O.) stationed at Ruislip, the vehicle was purchased by him in California and last registered in Maryland. He brought the car with him when he was posted to the UK.

So, for my B-day my Grandma gave me a $20 gift card for Amazon.com. Don't tell her this, but I think that a gift card is a dumb idea. Anyways, I was just able to order these 4 Lego dudes with the money I had. Ridiculous prices.

On a less negative note, I love these! All four minifigs are amazing! And the AC spaceship/speeder thing is surprisingly fun to play with. The curved sides equal lots of lateral swooshyness. The AC blaster the the ADU guy has is the most amazing Lego gun I've ever seen. I'll have to post some pictures of some neat combinations I found with it. Also; the Hazmat guy is my favorite! All I need are some zombies!

This is the first village we stopped at. We visited the school here, and took school supplies. I love the Peruvian river people. Very beautiful and quite friendly.

This custom ordered pendant was hand sculpted from polymer clay to match the buyer's six parrots from photographs. It features a Blue Throated Macaw, Congo African Grey Parrot, two Panama Amazons, and two Hawkhead Parrots.

It measures a little over 3 inches long.

No molds or paints were used.

Each color is a separate piece of clay blended together, and applied.

This was a custom order and is not for sale, please see my Flickr profile for further information about my clay art.

Very interesting choice of function hall

We stopped for lunch in Bista Alegre. These kids would get covered in mud and then jump in the Amazon to rinse off and then get right back to it.

So a bunch of my Amazon orders came in lol. I really wanted the 2016 Holiday Barbie with the Claudette sculpt and she was $15, I knew if I waited any longer she’s going to go for bonkers prices later on.

I figured I pick up another doll or two to save on shipping so I grabbed a Batman doll to steal his body, and picked up this Henry Higgins doll cuz I’ve been wanting a brown suit but they’ve all been $30+ and Henry here was $23 so.

Claudette’s dress is BIG though it sheds glitter and literally feels like a tent due to the plastic fabric. I actually really liked Model Muse bodies cuz the solid vinyl legs and dynamic poses make them good candidates for modeling clothing and photography, but this one? It’s AWFUL. The legs are hollow plastic and there’s messy seams everywhere so it’s basically garbage.

Batman is a weird one but I have no issues with him asides from his head looking like a burping potato and ALL his accessories are super soft vinyl, so I can’t imagine these surviving very well.

Henry Higgin’s suit is a Jacket and combination shirt and pants thing but… I miss this level of quality from Mattel. The fabric is hemmed, the jacket is fully lined and it just feels so much better than either of these other dolls lol. However his shoe did explode off and the box is degrading a lot so yeah.
