Douglas Kirkland came to the Phoenix Art Museum to do a workshop on fashion photography, sponsored by Canon and Tempe Camera. He set up a shoot on the stage and took pictures right there! This stream "Te Waihou" is sourced at the back of Tirau (Putaruru) Where the Blue Spring provides the majority of NZ's exported mineral water.
Even in tough times, my Surka is always there. <3 So are my other girls. But Surka has been here from the start. And i know she understands best of all.
No matter how hard i tried i could not get used to her teddybear chips. =\ So here are her old chips, but with a few changes. I painted the back of them white so the shinyness was gone.
I like them much better this way. =)
Virginia Task Force 2 (VA-TF2) Urban Search and Rescue Task Force recently conducted a quarterly training exercise at the Virginia National Guard Camp Pendleton Collective Training Center in Virginia Beach. VATF2 is a Department of Homeland Security Urban Search and Rescue Team headquartered in Virginia Beach. The Task Force is comprised of members from eleven Hampton Roads fire departments and includes civilian Subject Matter Experts with the primary mission of FEMA under Urban Search and Rescue, is the coordination, development, and maintenance of the Federal effort with resources to locate, extricate and provide immediate medical treatment to victims trapped in collapsed structures, and to conduct other life-saving operations.

This duck always seems to look angry to me. I have been lucky to see him quite often at the same area. There was at one time a female with him but she was not seen when we were there. He was quite subdued almost not moving at all while we were there this time.

This bridge has always been a highlight when taking the alternative route up north. It almost feels like you're flying when you go over it and that's in the car. The bus in this photo came over pretty slowly and the bridge itself has ruts in the tarmac where large vehicles have grounded in the past.
