First shot with the 28-400, looking forward to using this as a good allrounder on our upcoming trip to Scotland. On the z50ii it's 42-600 so ideal for any eagles I might spot on Mull !

The indoor ski 🎿 resort, opened in 2001, was the first such facility in Germany. It is visited by more than one million people every year. In addition to the winter sports facilities, the resort also includes various restaurants, a hotel and a climbing park.

This is Keodale, who carries rare and valuable bloodlines for the Exmoor Pony. The breed is listed as endangered by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. Their ability to survive on low grade moorland makes them a great conservation grazer, not to mention their intelligence and capability as in many ridden disciplines and also under harness harness. These hardy native ponies are also great characters and their ability to carry weight makes them great all rounders as family ponies. Their thick winter coats mean that they do not necessarily require the pampering that so many breeds of equine do, but some Exmoors do enjoy that style of life! My own two three year olds have access to a stable ( the door is open 24/7!) if and when they do wish to come in, but they usually spend the majority of the day and night outside whatever the weather!

Made with Canon EOS 5d MK III & Samyang 20 mm f/1.8 - very good set for mountain trip. The lens is light and small and has very good image quality. Yes you have to do some corrections in Lightroom but it is sharp and this is essential.

By the way it has 77mm filter diameter - the same like EF 24-105mm f/4 - the allrounder so you don't have to carry much of glass.

I do not know if the Dolomites are more beautiful in summer or winter. How do you think?

The ever delightful Kodak Retina Iic shooting on Kentmere 200, a newish film and proving to be a very good allrounder. Film was developed in 510 Pyro which seems to suit quite well. Shadows can be quite intense, but I quite like that.

Please do not miss the other one from this session!

I got a new lens, the Sigma 17-70/2.8-4.5 and of course I had to test it out. It is a nice allrounder, relatively fast and has a max. magnification of 1:2.3.

I came back to the location I shot my last frog with bokeh - and they're still there.

This was shot as close as possible, showing the nice bokeh this lens offers wide open.

Thanks for looking, have a great weekend!

Seen at the cricket: this is a tribute to Australian cricket captain and commentator, Richie Benaud, who played 63 tests for Australia claiming the test double of 200 wickets and 2000 runs. He's remembered as a great allrounder who held the bowling record until Dennis Lillee passed his mark, an enterprising captain who led Australia to a 4-0 Ashes victory and against the West Indies in the first tied test, and for memorable commentary for Channel Nine.

Sporting the cream, bone, white, off-white, ivory & beige jackets, the Richies hold their Channel Nine microphones high, drinking responsibly and singing in full voice!

They attend the second day of every Sydney test.

This was taken without looking at the viewfinder, I was lucky to get the focus at the frog's eyes. Old manual Agfa flash in serie-stting (lowest power) from left. Expect more from this flash, I was tinkering again...

1953 Claud Butler Allrounder. Reynolds 531 tubes with "axe head" bilaminate construction. Had this frame hanging up for several months...thinking '50s clubman with Sturmey FM or 5 sp Campy gran sport, Bluemels lightweight, Carradice etc?

Matching red "GB" bolts on Coureur brakes and Spearpoint stem indicate these components are mid/late '50s. Brake levers are early Mafac acting as place holders for now.

My friend Willem Vermandere, what a star, a proper Artist/creative, he writes and arranges his music, writes the lyrics, plays all the instruments and sings!

He paints, he sculpts in marble, stone, wood and metal.

He writes books and poetry.

Aah, and what a raconteur, you aways come away, with a smile, a warm feeling, enriched and batteries reloaded.

The kind of person you need in your life, none of those that drains!

Have a great day and thank you, M, (*_*)

Light Assault variant of the Fat Boy mecha. An allrounder on the battlefield, the Fat Boy Light Assault model offers a good mix of attack capability, survivability and agility.

Done in Studio.

Cricket can be almost balletic at times, as I think this shot of South African all-rounder Ryan McLaren shows. McLaren made 71 not out for Hampshire against Notts at Trent Bridge.

The N+1 disease continues and yet another new bike finds itself in my stable. This time, it's a Rivendell All-Rounder shod with fancy Compass Rat Trap Pass tires. It will have a low 2x10 for more challenging mixed terrain rides that cannot be easily handled by bikes with 650b Rock n' Road tires. It may also serve some commuter duties. Well, at least that's my excuse for the spousal unit…

This guy all wrapped up. A little sow on uploading the pics, but here it is. www.bantambicycles.com

Testing out the new Zeiss Zm 35 C-Biogon 2.8 I just aquired.

It's small, sharp and the perfect allrounder for shooting in daylight.

It's supposedly flare free, but as you can see, it's not :)
