Terry Hunt has taught for 40 years at UCE, Birmingham. He has taught so many of the movers and shakers of contemporary British jewellery and silversmiths and he is the most marvellously unpretentious, learned and charming man. This exhibition covers work by his ex-students and asks them to present one piece from when they were a student, alongside one piece of current work.

This flower, Spiranthes cernua var. odorata, was purchased mail-order from Plant Delights Nursery, and is growing well enough I have multiple clumps now. J. Forest Grass 'All Gold' is on the right, J. painted fern is on the left. (Posting 10 snapshots recording individual plants or the full view. This was a cloudy day; boosting contrast shows the plants best yet boosts the color saturation maybe too much.)

This nursery breeds for bright colors, making this photo set appear overly saturated. Wholesale only: now to find my favorites at retail.

Due to the unusually mild weather the spring colours in our garden are at least three weeks ahead of spring 2013! English garden for all seasons.
