I normally never try to photograph sunsets. They are one of those marvels of nature that just can't be captured visually as strong as the way the eye perceives them. Many people never take notice of good ones other than to point them out. Maybe that is all sunsets are good for.....Anyways I was happy, it was the first sunset of the new year and I had a roll of Provia loaded.....so i snapped a frame as the sun ducked behind the horizon.

My wife told me the sky looked funny. I turned to look out the window; and the blinds were red from the light outside. We are under a severe storm warning.
I shot this as I ran around the house. This is what met me. Like from Outer Limits.
There has been no tampering, adjusting, changing, saturations. or any other means to enhance these 3 photographs.
