that from municipality soi much neglected but still very attactive road on the slopes of Table Mountain .. it's still a magnet for all who like to chil out or work out, by foot, or by bicycle, men and dogs and even skaters (skate boarders) alike, all enjoy this great building, which is slowly decaying over the years. Some months I had the impression that something is going on there, for the sake of the FIFA, but all stuck in a certain stage, nothing half or full .. leaving the people wondering what and why there have been some activities from municipality, and all is abandoned now half way .. no money after the FIFA gone, or no interest any more from officials??? Who ever knows.. remains a very nice wreck of a road, officially closed but very much frequented by people for recreation ..

It's amazing how much nature, sunshine and abandoned places love each other so much.

This is The Main House of the “Santa Brigida´s Mine” this little town is 10 minutes from old almost phantom town f Mineral de Pozos. When I drove until this place an old guard’s place Reymundo Torres tall me that he worked at this place when his was young and was a beautiful place full of flowers and life… now all is abandoned. and since almost no body goes until this place is a good place to hunting photos… so I will need to set a time to go again… some photos of this place to come.
This house was built as a jail back in the late 19th century.
Walking those streets now is like walking through a Wild West movie set. Sections are overgrown; dried liquifaction coats footpaths, swamps properties, clogs drains and prevents run-off; some buildings are on a lean, while others show large cracks through their plaster. Tumbleweeds could have blown down the road...and I would not have been surprised.
All is abandoned. The desolation in the air is tangible...
