It looks like they put this hole here for oil changes, but didn't quite get the alignment right. Can't figure out why else that hole would be there.

I arrived at Yosemite late in the evening with the Milky Way blazing bright just over the Horizon. I set my alarm for a few hours in hopes of catching a perfect alignment for this shot. Due to the long days and this early sunrise I didn't catch the Milky Way at its' brightest but ended up really happy with how it turned out.

I was in two minds whether to align this with the horizon on the horizontal, or with the trees on the vertical.
