Jupiter, Venus and the moon. I didn't know Mercury was hiding behind the house until I looked this up on the internet.

I need to work on my night photos so I don't get any start trails.

This alignment in northern Boone County was left behind when a new bridge was built. The old bridge is gone.

 

NB

Philco alignment tool. This tool is used to adjust Philco trimmer capacitors that have a 1/4 inch nut. The tool is made of nonconducting plastic so as to not short out the B+ or detune the circuit.

Uneven tyre wear on phit. Time for a new set of rubbers and re-alignment.

Former Pacific Hwy alignment through Murwillumbah bypassed with the opening of the Chinderah - Yelgun deviation in 2002.

Sadly, the cromlech (the largest and most exciting part of the alignments) is closed to the general public and fenced off as you can see here. Further down we were able to walk amongst the stones though.

The girder bridge of the Harbour Railway, crossing the New Cut at Cumberland Basin. A road also once passed along the upper girders.
