This photo was taken by a Kowa Super 66 medium format film camera with a KOWA 1:3.5/55 lens and Kowa L39•3C(UV) ø67 filter using Kodak Portra 160 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

La concentration de sporophores, leur alignement régulier : c’est un véritable défilé.
D’abord flasque amas couleur pétrole (cf. ci-contre), ce myxomycète va former ces petites boules montées sur pied qui se concentrent et deviennent brunes et pâteuses à la manière de l’argile dont il emprunte le nom.
De là à y voir l’armée endormie de soldats chinois en terre du mausolée de l’empereur Qin...

This was taken last November during Thanksgiving weekend. Was an amazing mix of low fog, high clouds, and crescent moon rising. There were at least 3 levels of epicness from twilight all the way to sunrise.

An aerial perspective on the cold beauty of Jökulsárlón Ice Lagoon in Iceland. The patterns in the distant mountain align to the texture of the grit lines in the ice. The ice takes the form of small mountains concealed below the deep blue waters. A magical winter land which proves our imagination exists somewhere.
