During Glasgow's Merchant City Festival last weekend innocent shoppers were targeted by a menacing group of aliens. This poor shopper, while showing an initial willingness to play along and despite feigned concern by the invading hoard was left literally Gob Smacked (a widely used Glaswegian term, though usually in a different context).
In all seriousness, she was a terrific sport and really threw herself into the role! As for the Aliens they were out of this world. Search Flickr for "alien merchant city glasgow" for more superb pictures from the event or even go to their home planet at www.ljud.si/slo/ !
Small version of the Alien APC.
Yes. It looks a bit weird. It has a bad height/width aspect ratio because of the operator seat inside. And there is no steering.
But:
- Both doors can be opened.
- The turrets can turn.
- The large turret can be stowed away to the back.
- The operator seat can move and turn.
- 4-6 Weapons can be placed under the roof.
- and ... it is small enough to fit into my Alien dropship.
This guy is carved into a tree in a front yard in Meridian, Idaho. The owner seemed like a really nice guy, and wasn't afraid of what some people might think. I like the alien. :-)

The Dark Side of the Moon, MO, Round 1!
Neil Armstrong took a secret to his grave. No human knows, or will know, this secret. It tells the truth, and nothing but the truth, of The Dark Side of the Moon. It has remained unexplored since Armstrong’s day. And there is a reason for this. The Dark Side of the Moon…
Is inhabited!
by ALIENS!
They are, in fact, harvesting the moon’s natural recourse, which everyone knows, is a plentiful supply of cheese!
They have Genetically Modified the cheese to grow up, above the ground, like wheat, rather than having to dig them out of the ground like clay.
The cheese ‘stalks’ are cut manually by workers…
Then thrown up onto a conveyer belt, into a large transport truck.
This ‘truck’ has treads instead of tires, as the moon is a rocky, uneven surface.
Driven manually by aliens, the cheese can transport easily and quickly.
The cheese is taken to a pick-up zone, where they are picked up, and placed in a large spaceship, where they can be transferred to factories.

Any one guess what this is??
Thank you all for your views and comments, I really appreciate every one of them.
Indeed yes it is a sea creature and Luc has it right - it is a catfish at the Aquarium (where I found the penguin, lol). This was an albino catfish so it wasn't so difficult to slide the colours.

Aliens from one of the William Hartnell Dr. Who episodes. The Menoptera are obviously also just people in ill-fitting costumes.

First Alien added to my collection. It's from the TRU exclusive 2pack w/Predator (close mandibles). Found it in a local auction, the package was damaged but everything was there. The problem was that the Predator came really crashed, with a broken joint, unglued pieces and an upper fang lost. Despite all that i'm really happy. I glued the loose details and fixed the joint, but the elbow axis is still stuck and hot water didn't work. Maybe i'll fix that later.
