FESTBIER

rich seasonal lager

5.8% ABV [alcohol-by-volume]

"Brewed with a variety of German malts, lagered for 6 weeks. Toasty and complex, a soft continental hop character, and a clean finish."

▶The brewery itself opened in 2019; this whimsical biergarten —constructed from metal shipping containers and shaded by existing elms— opened, across the street, in late March 2023.

2021 represents a significant milestone in the history of the Phoenix Railway-Photographic Circle with the celebration of our 50th anniversary. Phoenix was set up in spring 1971 and was created to promote an alternative approach to railway photography. Why not take a look at the PRPC web site at www.phoenix-rpc.co.uk/index.html.

For Knit Girl...(in & out) (Becky Gust) who wrote me a wonderful testimonial..which I only just discovered today...flickr likes to make them hard to find these days... Thanks Becky..you are such a doll...

In this case the fish head is dangling by a thread, not being eaten up by the eagle.

Does it get much better? A group of friends enjoy dinner in the perfect climate and setting as the sun sets on the west coast of California. In fact, from their seats, looking a bit further to the left, the Pacific Ocean is easily seen.

This was my second visit to this awesome location. This time it wasn't planned but nonetheless turned out to be a good few hours. See write up from previous photo for full explanation.

When it comes to photography I haven't got a chuffin clue...I look at a view and try to build a shot with a train in it. Sometimes it works but mostly its pants.

I thought it would be good to get the whole train in, only you can hardly see it.. Still....with the distinctive livery i kinda get away with it. Do I ?

We had lunch here (steak sandwiches on Balkan flatbread). It was one of what seemed to be about a thousand outdoor cafes inside Dubrovnik Old Town.

I can't believe how good the photos from the fuji x-e1 are in low light. This was taken handheld at 6400 ISO . Virtually SOCC apart from a minor crop!
