My dream would be to have an alfresco picnic with a lady wearing a very long maxi skirt. Hope you like.
It was 95 degrees today, so dining on the patio table in the cooler evening breeze seemed like a good idea. The rose bushes are blooming, the hummingbirds are buzzing, and the sweet scent of jasmine perfumes the air. I made a light dinner of pasta with fresh tomatoes, basil, kalamata olives, feta and capers. A glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc to accompany the pasta, and everything is perfect !
Whole grain toast with ricotta and honey, strawberries, rooibos tea, and my day planner which consists of food notes (quinoa?! potatoes?!) and to-do lists.
Whilst holidaying in the Dordogne with our friends we naturally ensured we had plenty of refreshment during the hot and humid evenings. 😊 Not all in one day might I add..

Alfresco dining in the heart of Manchester. Sitting between the Cathedral Yard and Selfridges / Harvey Nichols, this little group of pubs / bars / eateries always proves popular when the Sun decides to grace us! A 6-frame stitch using the Powershot SX50.
Whilst Covid is around, outside eating and drinking is the only option - fine on a nice days such as this.

I thought that it was about time that I reflected on this beautiful piece of glass (leica 21mm Summilux), and aired some of my experiences of the lens. I’m not really one reviewing stuff, I tend to just use it… but i do spend a fair bit of time reading other peoples ramblings/findings on lenses, so i figured that I should share.
