Finally, the AJAX family of armoured vehicles made its Tankfest debut at the 2024 event. The development and production of this CVR(T) and Warrior replacement has been troubled and it is not clear even now thst all the problems have been solved, but on paper it will be a battlespace management enhancement to the British Army as well as providing new armour and reconnaissance sensors. The turreted version intended for the reconnaissance role, replacing the already retired Scimitar and currently backfilling Warrior, actually bears the family name of Ajax as its own and is seen here as part of the British Army's demonstration concluding the Tankfest 2024 arena displays at the Tank Museum, Bovington, Dorset.
