About to get off westbound Lakeshore East train (GO Transit) at Ajax GO Station, Ajax Transit Square

Finally got some new pictures of Ajax. I LOVE this guy. Unfortunately, he's been waiting for a home since early May.

Ajax is the cat for whom I would go into the adoption center three mornings a week before the store opened and take him on a walk for ~30-45 minutes. He did great on the harness and we'd go in circles around the store.

He's a cat with a high need for stimulation. He's not going to be satisfied with a guardian who doesn't want to play and interact with him quite a bit. But that guardian has yet to find him... part of the problem is that Ajax is very mixed in his reactions to other cats. He plays with some kittens fine, but attacks all sorts of adults with no particular pattern, and has also attacked adolescents. Given the unpredictability, it's required that he be an only cat.

To be sure, he's completely won over all the volunteers who've taken care of him. He hams it up. He jumps to catch flies in his paws. We play catch while I toss toy mice in the air and he leaps to catch them. And when he's feeling mellow he'll flop against you and occasionally stretch up to kiss your nose. He's very talkative and has a full range of trills and calls.

I miss him at my center. I don't miss the early mornings, but I had a lot of good bonding time with Ajax. Wish he'd find a HOME!
