last images of the aftermath of the monsoon, brought about by converging two low pressure weather disturbance north north west of the philippines. these images of a mcdonalds resto located near marikina river whose car park was nearly submerged by rising river water. glad to inform you that the weather since yesterday has vastly improved and today we finally get a glimpse of the sun, however, in areas that were heavily affected by the flood, are now declared calamity zones and doing massive cleanups.
One of only two ever built, the remains of an LAD RWD Talbot Samba as driven by the yellow legend himself Martin Gibb. Originally a forest stage car with a BRM 2litre twincam in it.
After the BRM let go on a rally at Leconfield near Beverley it was fitted with very highly tuned Ford 1600 and went on a severe diet and turned into a tarmac car. It did very well with several class wins .
Unfortunatly it all came to an end on the jumps of Redesdale on the Otterburn stages, the car didnt survive
Some drunken asshole threw a flaming gas can into my neighbor's bush at 1am. A passer-by noticed the burning gas can and managed to kick it out into the street before the building caught fire.
Participatory Event
The quirky fruit-throwing festival, now in its eleventh year, commemorates the sinking of the SS Indiana in 1901.
The SS Indiana ran aground off Worthing after colliding with another vessel. Its cargo, tens of thousands of oranges and lemons, cascaded from a gaping hole in its hull and was washed up on Worthing beach. Residents descended in droves to collect the fruit - a rare and valuable commodity in the early 20th century.
The event takes place no matter how bad the weather is. We've held it in driving rain and thick fog before, but hordes of flingers still turn up. It is especially popular with families and young children who don't care if it's raining or blowing a gale. They just love being on the beach, taking part in an event they will remember for the rest of their lives.
Proceeds from the event, on the beach opposite Thorn Road, will go to Lauren Jones, 18, Worthing's wheelchair tennis ace. Lauren, from Offington, was left paralysed from the waist down after falling from a tree.
Although there is some caramelized residue and a small amount of fat that rendered out during cooking, you can see that most of the sausage is still where it belongs - in the casing.
Week 14: "Show us the aftermath." - Maciej Dakowicz
With limit time this week my photo opportunities were limited to what I could find whilst shopping or walking to and from work. Luckily my work is firmly based on the fleeting moments so I found something quite fitting for this week's brief.
This 'aftermath' scene is the result of a few things: one, bad parking by the guilty owner of the silver car; two, the placement of the car beside the freshly painted taxi mural; and finally, the 'Keep Right' sign pointing at the traffic warden who is upholding his position and booking the silver car.

Aftermath of a Heavy downpour of rain and gusty winds throughout the night a few nights ago. Our house survived with no power outage or any damages, especially the fence. Others in the neighborhood were not as fortunate.
In the aftermath of NOT finding a supercar ...take a deep breath and relax..this would do just FINE ....
