Affirmation #106 - December 26th, 2010
Oh man, I love this crap! You're looking at the bounty of multiple trips to multiple Hobby Lobby stores to get these two very specific colors - "shocking pink" and "neon yellow." I need A LOT of these for an upcoming project and I just love buying the stuff. Felt is so stupid, so special, and just so damn wonderful. My earliest memories of learning how to sew involved felt and I've always loved its immediacy and ease of use. When I was finishing my BFA I made all sorts of stupid things with felt and I definitely earned a reputation for being a little "too" into it. Not much has changed, and I do plan on graduating to some different varieties but for now, the 25 cent per sheet craft variety is A-OK!
