I've been effectively procrastinating a major assignment for several weeks. The due date is this week so procrastination has moved up several notches.
On Sunday I did 3 machine loads of washing + hand washing. Then, it was too sunny and happy to concentrate - so I spent a while making brainfood for this lunch. Then I had to watch an episode of The Good Life "to relax" before sitting down to write a sentence.
My brother and I started to make shadow puppets on the table and I was reminded of a television show that had someone who made a happy face shadow puppet. I asked my brother if he remembered seeing it (I remember him watching TV with me when I saw it) and he didn't, but he attempted to recreate it anyway.

I was able to get permission from SUPRA to write a Step by Step Workshop on how I created this pitch artwork. The tutorial is published in Issue 64 of Advanced Photoshop Magazine.
I saw this at Suntec. The white bright thing next to the steering wheel is a lcd panel. Waste of money i say. It's $1 per ride, quite expensive.
When hit Passing button, this gadget activates horn 1 time and flashes, or blinks headlight 3 times depending of is it hooked directly to the headlight or trough relay.

The Advance Video System, or AVS, was the prototype of the popular Nintendo Entertainment System. The AVS was shown publicly only once, in 1985 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The AVS was revolutionary for its day. The system included a keyboard, handheld joystick, light wand/gun, music keyboard, and a data storage unit, that was all infrared wireless. The revolutionary controllers were also wireless, and could be stored in the front of the main unit, or control deck when not in use. The AVS combined many features found in computers of the day and included innovative functions such as game editing and storage, music composition, light wand-TV game interaction (you could shoot at the TV), and never before seen 8-bit video game graphics."
See here at Glasgow Central the Advanced Passenger Train. It was at Shields Road depot undergoing trials. It has an innovative tilting body. Unfortunately there were problems with the tilting mechanism and the project was abandoned.

I adore these shoes for obvious stripey reasons, even if they kinda make my heels bloody every time I wear them. (Also I realized the other day that an unreasonably large portion of my closet is now black and white geometric patterns. Easy to match or mix, easy to pair with weirdly-colored pants... Can I claim it's my signature rather than just be unoriginal?)

The Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Shimla
The building was completed in 1888 to serve as the Vicaregal lodge.
The basic plan of this building was conceived by the Ninth Viceroy, The Marquess of Dufferin and Ava, with the sanction of Lord Randolph Churchil. The Principal Architect was Henry Irwin of PWD. Grey limestone was quarried from a site five miles away and transported on mules to create this huge edifice in a mock-Tudor or Scottish baronial style much favoured by Victorian Britain. It was the first Government Building to have electricity, also European style kitchen and laundries housed in their own five-storey wing.
The surrounding lawns, gardens and terraces, which form part of the 331 acres were expanded during the Viceroyalty of The Marquess Of Lansdowne (1888-1894). Successive Viceroyalties continued to alter and add but the main building never lost its Victorian character.
Lord Irwin added the Main Entry in 1927. A staff of 800 including 40 gardeners were employed here at that time. Mainly used for entertainment of the Viceroy’s guests
