I am sort of a perfectionist. So naturally, designing myself a business card took over a year. I made this one in one day / one sitting (which is unusual for me). I'd been thinking about it and knew what I wanted and BOOM. Did it.
It's sort of hard to tell, but the camera on the front (black side) is a spot UV coating. When you look straight at the card you really don't see it (even tho in the illustration at the bottom it shows it's lighter). I'm happy they came out that way. Also, the "portraits, commercial, product, events, music" and aperture hole in the center are spot UV coated as well, although not as noticeable.
Oh, and UPS managed to lose them for me. I had to call around the neighboring apartment complexes and figure out where they ended up.
Strobist:
flash camera left. nothing exciting. this isn't meant to be artistic =]

Inspired by a series of fictional characters' political campaigns across the decades. And some non-fictional characters' proposed-by-others campaigns that perhaps should happen but probably won't.
Apologies to Paul Gross and whichever organization currently holds the rights to the Due South intellectual properties. This is definitely an unauthorized usage, created for my own amusement (and that of whomever comes across the image).
A friend of mine made the comment that inspired this wordmark. Apologies to those who see the late Justice Scalia as a positive role model.

A spray for Team Fortress 2. Something silly for me. Good news, I finished like 4 drawings today so expect some updates in the future.
Adobe Illustrator CS2.
Photo mockup using stencil art I created of Bill Maher for a confidential client.
I planned out the artwork in Photoshop CS4 an finalized it in Illustrator.
The photo is only a mockup of the stencil art on a wall.
