I have been nothing but impressed with Canon's newest telephoto zoom - the EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM II. I have just completed my thorough review of the lens and found very little to criticize. Everything seems to be Adobe in Santa Fe, New Mexico. As a boy, I use to think water would dissolve an Adobe house.
Windows of Canyon Road, Santa Fe, NM.
Santa Fe is the second largest art market in the US - next only to New York City. Canyon Road in Santa Fe has become the best little place for art galleries. These galleries occupy houses that were built in Pueblo Revival style. Needless to say, they provided the best windows and adobe walls for my study this trip. New Mexico adobe walls are very colorful, and yet it has an earthy look and feel to it. Whenever I am in New Mexico, I make it a point to shoot some of these walls as an exercise to retrain my mind on simplicity in compositions. The elements that are usually in play are contrasting colors, shapes, and textures. On this trip to New Mexico, I deliberately paid attention to the negative space to improve my compositional skills. I will be posting several images. I hope you like them.

Commissary wall at Fort Craig, New Mexico. The walls were made of adobe, which is baked mud. Adobe has a tendency to melt, and this photo is a nice illustration of that tendency.
I made this adobe roombox years ago. It has paper mache clay over wood walls. The floor is foam core that I painted. In more minor crafts, I made the clay doll on the trunk, painted the trunk, added the cowboy details to the wreath on the wall, and printed out the book covers over the foam core.
Another roll of film that I had developed. Unknown camera. I used the AI "Photo Restore" function in Adobe Photoshop Elements to clean up the image.
Some of these are images from Norway, others are from Denmark. Apparently a vacation trip.

Out of Salta up in the Andes in Argentina this picture was taken. It seemed that most of the village was abandoned as this particular residence.
Came across this photo by and wanted to try my hand in editing it. Incredible photo to begin with, but we all could use someone else's perspective from time to time! I'm not a veteran by any means, but this was my result after a little session in Adobe Lightroom! Thoughts?? Leave a comment below.

I was originally enrolled into the GETTY IMAGES collection as a contributor on April 9th 2012, and when links with FLICKR were terminated in March 2014, I was retained and fortunate enough to be signed up via a second contract, both of which have proved to be successful with sales of my photographs all over the world now handled exclusively by them.
On November 12th 2015 GETTY IMAGES unveiled plans for a new stills upload platform called ESP (Enterprise Submission Platform), to replace the existing 'Moment portal', and on November 13th I was invited to Beta test the new system prior to it being officially rolled out in December. ESP went live on Tuesday December 15th 2015 and has smoothed out the upload process considerably.
These days I take a far more leisurely approach to my photographic exploits, a Nikon D850 FX Pro body as my trusted companion, I travel light with less constraints and more emphasis on the pure capture of the beauty that I see, more akin to my original persuits and goals some five decades previously when starting out. I would like to say a huge and heartfelt 'THANK YOU' to GETTY IMAGES, and the 31.775+ Million visitors to my FLICKR site.

Photograph taken at an altitude of Nineteen metres, at 10:28am on Thursday June 20th 2019, off Hyde Park Corner and Park Lane A4202 in the grounds of Hyde park, a Grade 1 listed Royal Park (the largest of) of London. Spanning an area of 350 acres, the park is divided by the Serpentine and the Long water lakes, and was created by King Henry VIII in 1536 as hunting ground. It opened to the puiblic in 1637 and was extensively improved under Queen Caroline in the early righteenth century. The Great exhibition for which the Crystal Palace was erected, designed by Joseph Paxton was also held here.
Here we see a beautiful Ardea Cinerea (Grey Heron) on the tarmac road just beside the Serpentine Lake within the park. These birds are native to Europe and Asia as well as parts of Africa, with a wingspan up to Two metres and a mass of up to 2.1kgs.
