Shot taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II set on aperture (Av) priority using an EF 17-40mm f/4L USM lens tripod mounted. The exposure was taken at 28mm, f/14 for 8/10th of a second at ISO 100 using a Singh-Ray warming polarizer filter. Post capture processing was done in Adobe’s Lightroom 3.

Old adobe wall just outside Jugiong

Commissary wall at Fort Craig, New Mexico. The walls were made of adobe, which is baked mud. Adobe has a tendency to melt, and this photo is a nice illustration of that tendency.

I made this adobe roombox years ago. It has paper mache clay over wood walls. The floor is foam core that I painted. In more minor crafts, I made the clay doll on the trunk, painted the trunk, added the cowboy details to the wreath on the wall, and printed out the book covers over the foam core.

Taos Puebo outside Taos, New Mexico, is considered to be the oldest continuously community in the United States of America. The buildings are actually many individual houses built side by side and in layers of no common walls or connecting doorways. The building are built entirely of adobe and are believe to be well over 1,000 years old. The buildings are made entirely of adobe with the walls several feet thick and the interiors coated with washes of white earth to keep the rooms bright.

My impressions of my 'hood, riding around in my scooter on the last day of 2013.

This is a school assignment. It's a small book about different ways of transportation: small, medium, large and xtra large.

I've used the DDPm as an example of 'large' transportation. I will post more about this project on my Behance portfolio soon.

Came across this photo by and wanted to try my hand in editing it. Incredible photo to begin with, but we all could use someone else's perspective from time to time! I'm not a veteran by any means, but this was my result after a little session in Adobe Lightroom! Thoughts?? Leave a comment below.
