We're so happy we still have this Adam Power on his card. This was such a weird series by Revell. It's hard to know what target they were aiming at. These are action figures with vehicles and playsets but they're all a bit creepy.
Adam and Shaya go from looking fairly normal to their "power" form with sinews, veins and bits of tissue. The aliens are really well designed but, again, not cartoonish at all. The Trigore vehicle looks like something from Lovecraft and the playset is not simply foreboding like Castle Greyskull, but rather depressing.
But, it's because of all of this that we've always been fascinated with the line. It clearly stands out from the rest of the toy offerings of the time.
Also, Ggripptogg is a great name, both in identifying the character and the innovative spelling. Maybe the designers are from Internationalia.

Eine interessante Interpretation.
Da staunt Adam ;-)
Mini Busts of Adam and Jamie from the TV show Mythbusters! Jamie wearing his usual black beret. Both models are based on what they usually wear, look like, etc. Mythbusters is definitely my favorite show, so a great influence for building the figures came from my own interest.
Thanks for viewing! :)

Possibly my best holga shot ever.
Shot on 35mm film in a holga on Fuji Sensia 100ISO, then cross-processed. I mostly just held the shutter open for a random amount of time :)
these guys were crawling all over the trees. i've never shot ants before and i was just too eager! found a nice place between two huge tree roots and proceeded to get my photos. i was quite happy with the shots and checking them out on my screen. little did i know... the ants were starting to crawl all over my feet! yes, i was in shorts... yes, i was bitten... yes, they itch like hell! but i can't take all the credit... i was with my good buddy team dragon-except he was in jeans... click on the link to see his awesome shot! we had a great time but next time i'll be wearing jeans...
it's friday for most of us folks in asia... have a great start on the weekend!
Digbeth ~ Birmingham
Oh what fond memories I have of this pub. It had to be one of Birmingham’s best music venues ever. Friday night’s at the Adam & Eve were legendary....lock-ins until gone 3am in the morning, rocking to The Trevor Burton Band, Four on the Floor,Steve Gibbons Band,The Twang....I have a memory of Robert Plant turning up one night and jumping up on the stage to join Trevor Burton, the famous and infamous rubbed shoulders here, such great times! Unfortunately after a serious incident in 2014 the pub was closed down....now it is a B&B and Cafe for young people getting back on their feet after a life crisis or being homeless.
I'm sorry this picture sucks. I had a better one, but can't get to it now.
Did this a while ago, but forgot about it. Took off the abs. Looks way better. For now, I'm done. I have no clue how to do the ears, all of my ideas failed, and it looks fine without them.
I might make a new one later this year, or next summer. For now, this is it. I quite like it.
Inspired by bilbobful.
Got together with a couple of the guys from the agency to shoot some looks. Meet Adam...great personality and easy to work with!

A shot from the crowd during a Queen + Adam Lambert concert hosted at the Circuit of the Americas. Formula 1 Grand Prix Austin Texas. Queen is always a great show.
Adam is taking over the ranch now. He's been doing this since he could ride a horse, which was practically before he could walk.
